Alright, I’ll keep this short and sweet! Hi, MG! It’s me, Ashandra. Some of you may or may not know me on account of the fact I’ve been here since WoD! If you do, hi, Jimmy! If you don’t? Also hi! I’m looking for a guild, so, here’s a rough synopsis of the OC I’m posting this on and what I’m looking for!
Ashandra is a character that I’ve had and have played since Warlords of Draenor, she started as a sin’dorei priestess who operated (and still operates) on a fringe religious ideal that likens the sun, ‘Belore’, to being a Thalassian counterpart to Elune. She is a wandering healer and woman of the cloth who - through both faith and scholastic interest - wields The Light and studies Shadow.
She lived a fairly good live, true to herself and her beliefs, until the dawn of The Fourth War! When, sadly, she was cut down in the crossfire of a skirmish she was not meant to be in. To make a long story very short, she was raised into Undeath by one of the remaining San’layn. Cursed, fundamentally altered physically and psychologically, Ashandra has somehow retained her beliefs and her unwavering conviction.
In the years hence, she has continued to walk her path; now much more fraught. Some have perceived her as saintly for sacrificing her physical well-being to continue wielding The Light, others have ignored that to perceive her as a monster on the basis of her nature. And as for what she is? A kind-hearted and self-flagellating wanderer, one who loathes what she has become; but possesses the sheer iron-clad will to stay true to the ideals of the woman she was in life, e’en as it tears her body asunder.
For the sake of brevity, I’ve got some general bullet-points that are roughly what I’m looking for.
- Week Day RP, preferably around 6 EST or five server.
- ‘Adventure’ focused theme. Ashandra would be very reticent to join a holy order, scowl at a criminal organization, and is pointedly not a military type.
- Some level of activity outside of RP - I love doing content, mostly M+. I’m not really a ‘fixed raid night’ type anymore. But even just having a relatively busy guild chat is nice.
- This one’s more of a personal pet peeve than anything, but I’m basically three anxiety disorders and crippling ADHD in a trench coat. Specific event attendance requirements stress me out and are a big, big turn-off.
Anyway, that’s me and my self-immolating vampire girl. I’m kind of just shooting a shot in the dark here, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to at-least broadcast myself.
