Indeed.
Elves are largely bland and boring.
Mostly because people insist on viewing them as Lord of the Rings elves, rather than Dark Elves or Drow.
The most boring of elves comes in the form of the current High Elves who plays with the Alliance. Blood Elves still have SOME of their edge, despite the cultural shift.

Why should we be? Blizzard always will cave. At least for their favorite race - Those Blood Elves.

I forget, when did the Blood Elves get something, more than other races, that was unique to them? As far as I know, High Elf fans hijacked a lot of the possible unique customization and had it given to the Void Elves. All Blood Elves got was a few hairstyles and ornaments that can not be seen in most transmog sets anyway.
And how many other allied races actually got any additional customization options?

You lot already get enough love like most Non Elf races are still lacking in character creation options whilst Elf races are getting more and more pretty much every 2-3 patches not to mention that Blizzard literally forced Dracthyr players to have an Elf visage.

A few hairstyles, ornaments that can not be seen. Some eyecolours. Longer, shorter, mediummer ears/eyebrows.
Where are the scars, the beard options that can be seperated, the tattooes. Some races certainly lack customization, and Blood Elves being one of the core races are definitely one of them.
I agree though, that Void Elves can go take a hike. As an allied race, they already got far more than they should have.
