Just did an LFR Manaforge Omega Heart of Darkness. Raid killed the first boss, solid group.
However, the instanced bugged and would not let us move on to the next boss.
So now, 25 people have a 30 minute deserter penalty for doing the only thing they could do, leave group.
Sorry we cannot remove deserter penalty. It prevents people from trolling groups.
It is necessary for all queued content, sorry
Also do you have any evidence this happened or were you removed from the group for engaging in anti-social behavior?
happened to friends guild where they could kill dimensius because the portals wouldnt appear.
So your friend’s guild all queued together for an LFR?
no they were in mythic but the raid has been having issues with being able to take the portals so it wouldnt suprise me if this happened.

its not anecdotal it happened they have a video of it since he streams and the raid structure affect all level of raids from lfr all the way to mythic so if there is a bug with the transportation system within the raid it can affect all levels of difficulty. so are you just here to troll, because you certainly are not here to help.

Used to be you could leave LFR without penalty after killing a boss. But degenerates in a stupid dungeon for a stupid trinket made Blizz change the leaver penalty and it applied to LFR. Which it shouldn’t have. And it didn’t need changed to begin with for a problem that solved itself in a week. Or they could have moved the trinket to the last boss.
Anyone can post links to certain sites, regardless of trust level. Wowhead, YouTube, etc. Maybe even Twitch, but I’m not 100% on that.
If the penalty didn’t apply to LFR, we would have trolls in LFR too. The leaver penalty is necessary in LFR
right up until blizzard bans them for it. so unless a blizzard employee specifically asks me for it then im not going to post them. it would be too easy for an employee to decide i was advertising a twitch channel and ban me lol.
