Well, theyt STILL dropped anima and sould into the Maw regardless of them being aware Zooval just gained more powah thanks to it so… it was kinda NOT a secret they are kinda… dumb?
And please, the Kyrian model-wise are OBVIOUSLY constructed to fulfill a completely different “niche” than actual use as metaphorical angels or something.

Also I know I’m just saying, it could’ve been a battle cinematic and Kyrestia could’ve had a True Form

the main problem, they want their cake and eat it too… they still want anduin golden boy without really staining him with those pesky morally grey choices.
lets just say they tried to do a parallel with arthas but it fell flat.

It does feel like its sapping all the agency from the story when they have characters running around taking down big villians (bolvar,Archon) with relative ease.
Where as when we have to face these people in combat (aka Jaina) they come off as demigods.
Really sucks the Agency out of the story when we are playing second fiddle to the writers pet characters.

That´s giving them too much credit, they just stole Arthas cosmetic fashion and made a parody of him using Anduin as a “morally safe” vehicle.
It´s so bad it´s actually hilarious… writters boycotting their own franchise, megaLuL.

I remember them saying they were concerned about touching Arthas going into this expac as his story was told and they didnt want to ruin it.
So instead they write a terrible parody of it using Anduin instead. Its so annoying that they have no respect for the original works that they will butcher those stories by retelling them.
I can already see how this will end as well. We will face him in a raid next patch(prob ably defending the Heart in ardenweald) and fight him alongside Jaina and the rest of his cheerleaders. We will get him to 10% and then get a cinematic of him blasting us all with his chains.
He will walk over to Jaina while under the Jailers control and try to resist and kill her and that will cause him to break free of the Jailers control through the pain of the loss. He will then use his new Lich king powers to help us kill the Jailer in revenge Except probably regain the power of the Light as well.
I think its worse as they will make Anduin (never suffers a consequence) manage to break free of the jailer where Arthas couldn’t. He will not only come out of it fine but probably a more powerful mary sue than he already is.

i actually think its better this way, just think about it, it couldve been arthas, if its anduin nothing of value was lost.
Well they just couldnt bring arthas back without the fanbase boycotting the game, and they couldnt just turn him into undead since… well they already did plenty of that last expansion, so alive arthuin would have to do.
like midas but backwards turns everything golden to crap we were lucky this time it was only anduin it actually makes him suffer a little bit, all in all it was ok since people that really had it coming got screwed, specially kyrestia, it felt kinda good like when illidan blasted xera.
Please, anduin feels bad for steping on an ant, him “suffering” over a blue moron he just met is SO expected it´s rollseye worthy on it´s own. He STILL stays as the same static cancerous menace of always.
Well i was actually expecting him go full arthas but ill just take what i can since i dig his new look and of course i look forward into beating his sorry a** more than the sylvanas boss fight, it will be cathartic to have him on farm rotation.

Low key tearing up at the voice actor section, especially Debra Wilson’s speech.
Also tattoo goals.
Will we see Denathrius again?
- Similar to Bwonsamdi, it’s part of a community reaction as Bwonsamdi was brought back because of how much the community liked him.
- He was meant to have a small role, and they heard the voice actor’s performance, loved the character, and kept him alive to keep his story open for more!
- There may be allies of his that may be interested in liberating him from his grasp.
