Setting up long term or even permanent settlements on the moon is quite frankly inevitable. The artemis missions are a huge step towards that in addition to china’s plans.
As such do you think bliz would ever do a blizzcon there? and have local servers step up there so the ping isn’t horrible?

They seem to be thinking more along the lines of a base rather than a colony. Sort of like Antarctica. But if enough Lunar Grkarkian Rock People are interested it might work.
I don’t think Blizzard would be interested in dealing with hyper intelligent gorrilas and hamster during a Blizzcon stream.

The moon is mostly beneath the earth and rarely visible, so you should consider it more of a basement than an attic.
So yeah people will be playing wow in there as soon as possible. but no one will want to see that!

Pfft, The moon is hollow and filled with aliens watching us. It’s true i saw it in a (bad) movie. Fortunity for myself I can just duck in and out of universes, so it’s no biggie. 
Uhh, sorry to be pedantic, but you only see it at night cause its tucked in the bottom, if it was near the top it would be there starting in the morning obviously.
Well considering there’s a pretty good chance that we’re eternally stranded within our own little solar system, I’d surely hope we at least expand to some of the neighboring celestial bodies.
This would be way too expensive to maintain, given that everything needed would need to be shipped from Earth. Including breathing air and drinking water, in an environment so hostile you could never go outside the buildings.
That and the fact that the entire world seems to be headed toward a depression and population collapse.
Until we’re able to build thriving, self-sufficient metropolises on the ocean floor, in the middle of the Sahara, or the coldest part of Antarctica, there’s no shot we’re building anything significant on another planet.
After all, if we can’t even master the uninhabitable places of our own world, where even the worst-case emergency scenario would still leave people situated within some distance of food, water, and supplies in an environment that has at least an atmosphere and breathable oxygen, how does anyone figure we’d manage on a dead, desolate rock?
