I have waited. As I said, this happens every time there’s an expac with a squish. Also getting upset that no one asked about old content at an event that is specifically focused on new content is a little silly.

I can’t solo xavius in emerald nightmare on mythic. I just can’t beat the dps timer you have to in order to not get charmed and instantly lose. You can’t even use divine shield to mitigate the charm. Nothing works, if you can’t beat the dps timer thats it. Ursoc was almost a wipe too. I know I’m not geared to the nines on this character but come ON.
This was clearly intentional. They don’t WANT the old raids to be easily soloable anymore. Why? No freaking idea. But their response to the situation is very clear. Almost certainly something to do with their time played metric or whatever we are calling it this expansion, it all comes down to the same thing no matter what you call it.

I wonder if this is class based? I recently put together this mog and completed the balance of power questline for the artifact appearance between this ilvl 163 and my level 51 ilvl 100 boomkins.
I’m not sure why devs think that it’s good for the game for bored players to have nothing to do. Maybe you can explain it to us.

No, it doesn’t. They aren’t saying they’re going to look at it. They’re saying it’s going to stay the way it is. I don’t know why they’d fix something they’ve told us they don’t think needs fixing.

Explain how any player should need to be level 60 AND wearing current raid tier gear to run LEGACY RAID (level 40) content?
How is this anything but pure laziness on the side of the devs to not tune down legion content?

not sure what this has to do with oneshotting legacy content… if you’re running legacy content, probably means you’ve ran out of things to do and are bored of current content in the first place.

The lead designer already addressed this long ago. He said they did not intend to do anything about Legion because he feels that eventually we will outgear the content.

I still think it’s pretty lame to 1-shot a boss by yourself. These villains were legendary parts of the story (well, some of them were). I hope Blizz takes a look at old content and finds a way to encourage people to group up for it, perhaps as a finale to the 10-50 leveling process. There is a vast amount of content in the game by now and they can always do more to leverage it.

It is actually lazy. They don’t want to spend resources fixing something they broke. As a result, a very large group of players are upset and they are risking cancelled subs when there is a very long dry spell in the game. I’m one of those people who farm old content during dry spells, but will now probably unsub during them, and save myself some cash.
