They just spent 30 minutes talking about how tracer barley looks different and then they showed the new character models and the audience was dead silent for half a minute AHAHAHHA

Gonna be that guy and say that people are just jaded at this point so nothing will be satisfactory.
This isn’t exactly a common occurrence. WoW is a very old game and most of its current players are long-time as well.
And unfortunately, after such a long time, the spark starts to vanish.
You need to move on.

you can just skip the Shadowlands of you like. but mostly everyone will try out this xpac. I mean what you are looking for in WoW game anyway?

There’s other blizzcons besides this year and yesteryear’s
There is just no ‘wow’ factor at this Blizzcon in regards to WoW. No new races, no new classes, and not enough details on upcoming features makes me feel underwhelmed for Shadowlands. I sat out both WoD and BFA because the listed features did not excite me, and my intution is telling me to ignore Shadowlands as well. I really do hope there will be more exciting announcements in the future.
Could you imagine how much hype there would be on the forums if both tinkers and necromancers were announced? Or if some of the more requested races were added (High Elves, Ethereals, etc). Has Blizzard lost their touch?

The open ceremony was free, honestly that is the only real important thing to see at Blizzcon. You didn’t have to buy the ticket unless you wanted the rewards.
It is a little weird that we haven’t heard about any new allied races coming later.

I don’t know about you but Tracer looks pretty sexy lately. They might need to tone her down. 
D4 was obviously a rushed Alpha build based on the D3 engine because they panicked after their stock drop after last Blizzcon. I don’t expect D4 for another 2-3 years.
