BlizzCon 2019 Virtual Ticket

Why can’t they just put the wow items separate for $20? Since I have no interest in watching the con or the other stuff I won’t use. :triumph:

Pretty laughable for the 15 year anniversary. That, and I’m still burned about what a steaming pile of crap this expansion has been so no way am I throwing any more money at Blizzard right now … especially for a Wendigo onesie that looks like a Fortenight skin and a murloc pet.

again tell that to them not me…

Just ignored the part where i looked at the costs on the ps4 digital store (which would charge the standard price of games)

Ok

It’s 50 dollars, or I missing something here

The Blizzcon rewards aren’t really tied to the 15 year anniversary. That is why we have the in game event going on for that. With the two mounts, wolf for Horde, ram for Alliance, and then the Deathwing flying mount for the 15 year raid. Not to mention the Lil Nefarian pet for logging in. I’d say we’re getting spoiled, but thats just my opinion. you do you.

The “standard price of games” has nothing to do with it when the price available 100% of the time is NOT the “standard price of games”.

I’m done going around in circles with you about this, you’re just being belligerent for the sake of it about one little comparison that I threw out there for illustration. You must be enormous fun on the high school debate team.

Fact: Virtual Ticket costs $70 AUD
Fact: New release AAA game costs $68 AUD

Simple. As. That.

$70 AUD for some pets and a transmog item and some stuff for a bunch of games I don’t even play; I think I’ll be giving it a pass.

I’ll read the highlights on wowhead or mmochamp.

LMFAO Keep dreaming, not for at least another 4-5 years, if they make it, which they’re not.

Because it was flawed. Digital purchases of digital items follow conversion rates. It’s as simple as that. AUD is worth less than USD. So be mad at that and not Blizzard. They are changing the same price for everybody.

Yes, and it’s too expensive.

It’s too expensive in Australia.
It’s too expensive in the USA.
It’s too expensive in Canada.
It’s too expensive in New Zealand.

Nitpicking about my comparison to the cost of a AAA game is just distracting from the point. It’s too expensive. Period.

Its the perfect price. And optional.

I know there’s been some really dubious uses of the word “perfect” in some less intellectual circles this week  but surely the “perfect” price would be, err, zero.

Ah, the same argument wheeled out to defend loot boxes and other rampant micro/macrotransactions.

To be fair some of the armor we’ve gotten from warfronts have made for some great mogs

50 smackers seems like a lot to be able to stream it.

$50 bucks instead of a couple thousand to see the event in person (assuming flight, tickets, hotel). Maybe in some not too distant future, there will be no money and you can just do whatever you please. No matter what the price, someone will be excluded, even at zero.

All of WoWs content is optional, so not sure what you’re on about. You don’t have to defend something you’re not going to do. Imagine arguing in favor of slavery if you have no slaves…

I’m sure, assuming you don’t want all the goodies, somewhere on the internet someone will be broadcasting the event illegally for free.

Then give me the option to not pay for the extra virtual content and just let me pay for the ticket and only get the ticket.

Not for me, I’ll be the best looking gnome dk tank in the game.
