It’s virtually effortless to enforce chat.
Not that many instances of win trading aren’t completely obvious.
Hey dude, we are getting a pvp island. When was the last time we got a pve island?
Checkmate.

I was watching Omnivore’s Twitch stream last night too, and yep it’s an absolute mess. Legit R1 caliber players who’ve consistently hovered in R1 range all season were losing every game, while some tier-3 R1 wanters suddenly had win rates way above their usual performance. Even worse, there are some profile-hidden, completely unknown players, some people we’ve never seen in high MMR matches, are now sitting in R1 spots after going on streaks like 20 wins and 4 losses.
We clearly saw some blatant win trading going on, and I’d bet there are even more games with subtle but intentional throwing that no one picked up on.
I feel so sorry for those honest skilled pvp players who lost their R1 spots. While it’s true that win trading can’t be completely eliminated because since it’s hard to track technically, obvious cases can be identified.
Blizzard should actively support WoW PvP streamers by promoting their content and helping them gain more visibility. With more eyes on the games, win traders sitting in R1 range would be much easier to expose.
Plus, these streamers provide great educational content for new PvP players, which could help bring more players into PvP community. I’ve personally learned a lot from watching the streamers and honestly WoW PvP has never been this fun for me. So it’s a win-win for both Blizzard and the streamers.
There’s a night elf BM hunter that’s been botting the Deepwind Dunk brawl for several days now. I can’t think of a single reason what his motivation for doing that would be.
We would be fired if we did so poorly.
I can only hope they have been watching and send out a massive ban wave/deny all rewards and rankings to these players.
After having Q’D all day this season end and seeing tons of very questionable plays/people blizzard really needs to look into improving their regulations. I can only imagine this getting worse and worse
It was way worse this season than last.
