There is no lock in existence that wins a 1v3 if the players are equal skill. Warlock is one of the few classes mages can seriously bully at this particular level.
I don’t want to go through the laborious task of trying to make OP list out every single rune and spec but a single mage with regen, arcane blast, and living flame will easily 1v1 the avg warlock and if the skill levels are equal should beat the better warlocks.
If you had a mage + any other class and aren’t hiding anything then this was definitely a user error situation.

are all 3 of you fresh 25s with no gear?
was the tank lock full BIS?
did you gank him or did he gank you?
its very hard to see how a single class of anything can 1v3 right now. As a rogue you should be able to ambush + backstab and at the very least bring him to 1/2 HP. You have a kick for his fear, a stun, 2 roots, off healing and enough damage to over power his drain life. If all 3 of you just ran after him without any CC and he just got to dot and drain then sure, he could kill you, but with all the CC you have on that team that should never have been possible
