Blizzard you need to implement a PvP fix and SOON

They only thing they need to address is the population imbalance, but they stopped caring about that. Even when they did care, their attempts to help were dumbfounded and pathetic.

If the population was more even, horde queue times wouldn’t be ridiculous, and BGs would be more equal with pugs/teams. It might even help with AV because if alliance had a queue time like horde does, they’d have more incentive to actually fight rather than just bend over. Horde fights hard to win because it’s literally 1h 30m in queue just to get the match. Does alliance even have a queue time for AV? It’s no wonder they don’t give a damn about losing.

Matching premades with premades and pugs with pugs very easily solves the problem though.

I realize it’s not ideal for people who terrified of actually having to face another premade but oh well. The solution of just join a premade is not a solution.

Increases queue times while it endorses avoiding competition in a system where everyone is equal, pressures those who group to do the same and leaves an empty bracket for the most elite teams to resort to win trading.

That’s not a solution.

It’s an in game solution that you could resolve right now for yourself. It sure beats complaining weeks on end for someone else to handle your responsibility.

Assuming the ratio of premades to pugs is the same on each side then the queue times stay the same. Premades fighting premades is the equivalent of pugs fighting pugs, so people dropping themselves out of premades aren’t avoiding anything.

I haven’t seen anything suggesting that one side or the other has more premades as such it’s a perfectly fine solution.

But it’s not a solution to pugs being matched against premades.

You might want to look into what splitting NA into 2 did for queue times and reconsider your statement.

I think the horde continuing to take advantage of the map has a far bigger impact on queue time in AV for horde.

AV is bad honour for rankers- win or lose, if you try to rank in AV you’re going to derank, and since its 40v40 no matter what you do you’re not going to influence the outcome of a match.

So that’s a big part of it- you have a small group of players Alliance side doing it. Bots, pvers and alts that need their AV rep rewards.

If Horde could not rank in AV, just think about it if you were getting zero honour in AV, would you still be doing it? Would Horde still be doing it? Of course not. If you had a 0% win rate and weren’t even getting bonus objectives- Horde would stop queuing too.

So Horde has hundreds if not thousands of players trying to get into AV for the honour. If Alliance has 80 players and 40 of them are lowbies and bots in AV, while horde has 1000 players and 40 of them are lowbies and bots in AV- you’re going to be considerably more diluted for useless players.

What are your suggestions to fix these issues? Honest question.

Actually we were still queuing it back when alliance won all the time. I personally got to R10 primarily through AV, half of which was when horde lost all the time. I did practically no WSGs because it was full of alliance teams and miserable. Blizzard didn’t drop AB until the same time my ranking was done, so I haven’t done much in there.

When alliance won, horde got honor, rep, etc. When horde win they go out of their way to make sure alliance get NOTHING, even the things that have no impact on their gains(like the LTs).

Horde now have 5 man teams sitting back to even prevent LTs from getting killed. Alliance get nothing, so why would they bother to queue.

War whatever: its a video game. You scorch earth the video game to the point where people dont have fun? They will stop playing.

To clarify so that the horde can understand: Losing is not the problem, I got no problem with losing. Losing everytime as well as getting NOTHING from the bg? That is when I stop playing.

Absolutely clueless, this is why nobody takes Horde seriously.

Even when Horde were losing in AV, it was about 50/50 since only the r14 aiming super raids were finishing super fast, and most of the other ‘premades’ were just groups that ensured they had a tank, some healers, and were booting people that leeched- they weren’t super skilled or coordinated, and they won and lost matches.

And even if you were losing a majority of matches, at no point did I ever see Alliance going back to prevent LT kills or bunkers from being taken, most of the focus was on getting to the boss and finishing.

It’s why even as we were doing the race thing at the very start before all but the top premades were prevented from doing it- Horde were here bragging about how despite losing they were getting more honour that Alliance since they were killing lts and doing bonus objectives.

Now, Horde send patrols to ensure even Alliance stealthers can’t kill LTs- despite it being something that means zero honour for Horde, that’s the dedication to ensuring Alliance can get nothing out of it at all.

Of course, that’s pvp- if you want to go scorched earth, you can do so. But that’s what scorched earth does- it makes the area uninhabitable. You can’t now complain that you have queues when your goal in making Alliance zero is to make them stop playing. It’s like complaining there’s nobody to pvp against after screaming ‘quit or reroll’ for months.

Is it a battleground or a shareground?

I have no idea, unfortunately. But I hope Blizz is reading this and figuring things out because the current state is unbearable as a solo Qer and i enjoy PvP just as much as PvE.

Pretty sure its a shareground since you need us to play. But let me know how it goes having no opponents. What are the queues at now?

Horde often got more honor than the alliance did when they lost. Similar amounts of rep as well.

Didnt say you had to do anything, just explaining what the difference is between when alliance were winning versus horde are winning.

I have a easy fool proof solution. Don’t do bgs. Let me tell when I did bgs back in vanilla they were not even close to trash heap we have to today. Of coarse, it’s not Blizzards fault, it is the player bases fault. 2020 is all about how can I cheese to win, 2005 it was I want to have fun and I don’t care if I suck. Imagine if they tried to fix bgs, how much backlash they would get for doing a major change even it was a good one.

It’s up to you to fight back, not cry that the big mean horde won’t let you play.

  1. Player made problem…fix it yourself
  2. Player made problem…Fix it yourself
  3. Get Gud…

I queue for all 3 when alone, it doesn’t impact me. I do this without providing you free benefits.

  1. Make your own
  2. Reroll
  3. Just don’t queue for AV, the higher the horde queue the more likely a change.

I dont care, I just dont AV.

Again its a game for people to have fun, if you cant compromise at all so that the other people have fun as well? Cant be surprised when they stop playing.

Trying to see if horde were capable of empathy. They are not but no surprise there.
