They aren’t though.
They are nowhere near as big as the actual dragons, but they are about as big as Blizzard thinks a playable race could possibly be.
Here’s my very naked Dracthyr next to a human.
As you can see, his face is about the height of the bellybutton she would have if she wasn’t a lizard.

On the other hand when they do switch to fight in true form it’s usually an escalation; visage is rarely at full power if ever.
You’re right I didn’t literally mean everybody. I did mean the 100% part though, as that is what was asked for and what was given.
I mean, you’re not wrong.
The creation of the Visage form directly correlates to the lacklusterness of the Dracthyr model.
If the Dracthyr were simply Dracthyr all the way and the development time spent making the Visage form was instead spent on the Dracthyr everything would be better but instead they just made this elf adjacent thing when we haven’t gotten a monster race is forever.
Spineless.
The options were simple. Fully customizable Dracthyr, completing specific content unlocked more barber shop options… that’s all they needed, we didn’t need stupid visage form
No, it’s just that High Elf fan boys still lurk the forums and anything that has knife ears MUST be playable to the fullest extent.

What’s he on about turning off seeing dragons? Never heard of it
Dragons aren’t skinny, never were. They’re kinda fat and thick, lol.
Have you seen Onyxia’s model in-game? Or any of the aspects in general?
They can’t throw a twink-ish frame at us and say “Here’s that dragon race you wanted.”
For the vast majority of people, Drakonid would’ve done the job better.
It’s very tone-deaf, tbh the whole race kinda was since inception. Always gonna be problems with Dracthyr, just because they were implemented poorly.
It’s telling folks would rather stare at the Visage form, which is yet another recycled elf/human model, depending on your gender. Also it can wear armor, the dragons cannot.
If you rescale onyxia’s concept art design to player size she’ll look a lot more like a dracthyr than a fridge.
Also dracthyr are taller than the other races and more built than all but one (Kul Tirans and a lot of that is not muscle) so the twinkish thing is about as comical as when the lot of homophobic bores in this game decided belf men were girly for having muscles and actually sane proportions.

Is it a problem to call something a twink? I love twinks, personally lol, but that’s a discussion for another time.
Blood Elves exist btw, and Void Elves, both twinks, and arguably the most popular races in all of WoW.
100%.
It’s not a scary dragon, dragons are supposed to be intimidating.
people have been dogging on dracthyr since they were leaked and then officially revealed, if you can’t get it through your head that people don’t want to play as ugly fetish dragons then that’s your problem
i dont get why people make a dracthyr to play as their visage form
just play an elf.
its like playing a worgen but staying in human form. i don’t get it.
@_____@ draconic troll??? ohshi---- I will take one of those please. Yes absolutely. Oh man, draconic tauren would look wild. I’d have to make a few of those.

Clearly seeing a dragon makes them ‘excited’ to the point of distraction.
People like the visage form customizations. It’s not that deep, really. But I agree that the dragon race should be dragons not elves all the time. Just give humans and elves more customization and everybody wins
There are literally more player dracthyr than half the races in the game - they’re in the top 10 most played. There’s almost twice as many player dracs at the level cap as there are Vulpera despite the fact that hordies still sometimes act like Org is full of them.
I would love if they actually gave us visages of all races. I would go back to maining my lizard
Wait, this thread isn’t about bearded “female” Earthen?
