Your entire arguement was based on the delusion that the base pre-purchase came with 30 days game time. You’ve already admitted this was wrong.
At this stage you’re just walking it back because your online forum ego is bruised.

I’m not saying the Epic edition wasn’t good value for money. But it was not free additions. There was a price increase between the heroic and epic editions. The game time was part of that price increase.

It’s about as bad as blizz only giving mounts to 6 months or yr subs when they have had people monthly subbed forever and don’t get crap. The loyal people always get screwed.

I never wrote, “the base version of prepurchase has 30 days free of game time”

You asked for loyalty rewards. They already exist. There’s nothing in that conversation to make me have any emotion whatsoever, so why toss out the gaslighting now?

If you were talking about something specific, then communication is key and you should elaborate on what ideas you have. It’s always good to share.

All I have to say is welcome to the real world. Any and everything you buy at a store, be it a grocery store, electronics, etc., can and will go on sale the very next day. Best you can do is ask for a refund and see what happens.

You got the pet, and the ability to use your evoker early. What more do you want, egg in your beer?

Sucks to hear that. Bad timing but maybe you can contact blizz and see what they can do, if anything. Worth a try I guess.

How about they give those of us who pre purchased a free mount as compensation despite the fact many of us got the big bundles that came with one. I mainly pre purchased for the game time and the hat cosmetic. Now I got me a draogn pet who’s the same size as my vulpera so I’m able to not be lonely questing anymore

The purchaser doesn’t get the free month of game time, the recipient does.

Reading is hard.

Yep its a slap in the face.
Blizzard should address this

Did someone hold a frying pan over your head and tell you that you had to prepurchase?
I’d say go after that person, not Blizzard.

Even if

… You do realize that…

they got your money already, bro. you get the 60% babypowder, they get the pure stuff.

So, lot of folks gettin’ riled about free game time for those who purchase when they pre-purchased aren’t getting the same deal.

Taking all the “shoulda”, “deserve”, “value”, “loyalty” and other arguments outta this event, here’s what I see; In business, you never “give” away what you can sell. So what this says to me is…DF may not be selling so well. (haven’t bothered to look at numbers for previous 2-3 xpacs, but I’m guessing they didn’t impress much, either)
Normally, I’d leave this right there…but there’s more.

Today, Chris Metzen returns to Blizz as a Creative Advisor, specifically for WoW “for now”. Now, I have missed the last couple expansions, so I’m just catching up on them …but it would appear to me, at first blush on these two events…that things aren’t all shiny and happy in the WoW sales dept.

That’s all a guess, so, unpack it and tell me if I’m too many car-bombs into the evening. (which is entirely possible)

Yup that was my assessment as well!
They clearly didnt generate enough sales of the xpac, and to lure new purchasers in theyre giving away a free sub with the xpac now…

But they should give all of us who recently bought the xpac a free sub month. Bc as many have stated earlier, good business practice is to appreciate and reward loyal customers, and not just neglect them for new buy-ins only to be privileged.

It’s a Christmas promotion.

You don’t buy a whizzding for $20 in September and then complain when that same whizzding goes on sale or comes with a BOGO deal on Black Friday.

Come on. /smh

I salute you in this completely not fruitless and pointless endeavor
