Blizzard will do anything to keep you guys running on that hamster wheel

I would only consider classic+ if I haven’t played classic for a couple years and am looking for a fresh start. It is amazing that Blizzard will keep you guys just running on that hamster wheel, and it’s even more amazing that everyone continues to do it. I want classic that will last 20+ years and that doesn’t get changes. The sad thing is is that the more versions of WoW they release the more it fragments the player base. If I come back to a dead era, I might just give up on WoW. I don’t want to come back to a WoW in 5 years that has 4 versions of classic era, 2 versions of tbc and like 50 versions of wotlk. I really can’t fault Blizzard either, they are going where the money is, the entire buisness model of WoW is updates every 3 to 4 months and new content (xpacs, new versions of wow) every year.

Era is going to be fine.

The problem is they don’t have the team or people to do a classic plus right now. Sod is so bad like crazy bad how it played out.

They can’t even figure out pvp gearing. They need to bring in some fresh “older” eyes for a classic plus.

I think OP is sad other people are able to enjoy things

Yep. era is looking to be a nice mop waiting room.

If I wanted classic+…I’d reinstall ascension. Modded wow is there, Nothing in its store had me go I feel so empty not having it.

Okay…maybe the skimpy “woolie” mog had me go maybe I could slide them a few bucks. Nah…

grossssss

Mop is disgustingly bad

I’ve been wanting a poe style rotation of wow for a long time so i’ll be here.

As long as they don’t do what they did with sod again.

Content we can do in 4-6 months then they change it up and we do it again would be nice.

To argue your title, players who are dissatisfied with the game will perform extraordinary mental gymnastics to avoid quitting.

How is playing a 20 year old game with an economy only top .01% can enjoy not running on a hamster wheel?

at least we can choose which wheel we spin now.

What do you consider classic+ to be?

I like my hamster wheel, you can pry it out of my cold dead paws.

But I wouldn’t say no to a second hamster wheel!

That’s what I gathered from their diary entry as well

Ascension is closer to retail than Classic+. You mean Turtle.

lol…classic+ is never going to happen

get over it

see everyone else in durotar in a few hours

Era will always be there. That being said expect it to go through times it’s really busy and times it’s dead.

one thing to keep in mind is that this is not a replacement for era. It looks like it will run quickly then go on to burning crusade.

Now, at this point I’d love if they opened some Forever Burning Crusade realms when this switches over so people can stay in TBC. Also they should allow migration to classic.

I for one don’t have any interest in the game past TBC.

Yeah but they keep ignoring us asking about this and won’t tell us if we are wasting our time on another TBC > Wrath > Cataclysm > Shadowlands Classic forced treadmill. I also have no interest in anything past TBC.

The thing that keeps getting missed is the progression.

You can only be part of the progression experience as it is progressing. If you missed the progression in 2019, and again with Era, this is another chance to jump on.

So it’s only by these restarts that people can experience the end games of each of these old expacs.

I embrace my Blizzard overlords.

It’s a really dumb and frustrating way to do it. These are retro games now, being forced into each one that you don’t want to play 20 years later is just stupid. We know what’s coming and we know what we don’t want, so this just makes a lot of us not bother.

If you want to move into the next expansion, it should be a choice.
