Blizzard why so much contempt for your transmog community?

Then you get lvl 60 gear, and have no issues

People at lvl 60 with good gear can’t do legion raids. Sigh… Please read some feedback. Its not like I don’t want to lvl to 60. I want but I know I will get even weaker if I want to come back to Legion later on. I am having trouble as it is doing older raids

I have a Kal’dorei Vengeance DH too, and is level 60. The bosses are tough, but it’s doable with using all of your tools, but perhaps it’s due to warrior’s poor self healing.

I struggled to solo avatar at 50, even on heroic. But I blame that on simply not knowing the mechanics and not being bothered to look it up to think it was impossible. As far as doing it at 60, I ran NH on mythic on my druid at 50 with no problems, even Gul’dan, and have since at 60 and it felt easier to me. Like I said previously, one trick I’ve been doing for old content is equiping my HoA and going through it. All of your essences / stamina buffs / etc work with it in non-shadowlands zones. PLUS you get your covenant perks. Fury of Ursoc lego + vision of perfection on a guardian druid is insanely overpowered.

Joining a group means getting less gold and less transmog, as it is split among participants. Fail.

I find it hard to believe you are soloing mythic coven and eonar, which have mechanics that require multiple players.

Because they’re tired of people playing the game wrong. There is only one right way to play the game. Everyone playing the game any other way is doing it wrong and should be stopped.

A phrase used not infrequently by Ion is “degenerate gameplay”. Powerleveling. Twinking. Multiboxing. Soloing old dungeons at level. Leveling as end game. And many more options have been removed after retroactively declaring them degenerate.

They will continue to remove options until players have no choice but to play the game right. They will tell you when you may group, and who to group with. They will tell you the right type of “friends” you must have.

Ion doesn’t do transmog. He doesn’t do old content and has told us repeatedly that it’s “not fun” smashing old content. He doesn’t play alts. He doesn’t do PvP. He’s a raid logger who doesn’t do the chores we are expected to do. His fingerprints are on every restrictive change you see.

My suggestion for people who have alts and like running old raids is to keep those alts at level 50 until legacy content is re-tuned. I remember some people in beta were saying that the squish would screw up old raid boss difficulty, and it looks like they were right. Two of my farming alts were still getting through Legion raids fine at 50, but ever since they hit 60, the tuning has gotten really frustrating.

They are, and that’s what WoW is. What WoW isn’t is a game where you can have everything handed to you just because you want it.

Earn it.

If you actually have a transmog “community”, why not just party up and run the raid together?

Uhm I just asked for the gold for when he quit… I think you replied to the wrong person. Fail.

They want to force you to play current content.

hahahaha , nice troll. I am not interested in earning it and thats why I am doing old content. If I wanted earn it, I will do current content. But hey nice attempt.

I want to see people earn it again in Molten Core so they can progress in SL. Lets see how that goes.

Force new players to start in classic, and then progress through each classic expansion as it was when it was released, so they earn their way into playing Shadowlands! Otherwise its just them wanting a free ride into the latest content. Filthy casuals!

It’s not our characters. The legacy buff is active in Legion raids. You can do over 30k DPS. The problem is the bosses have ridiculous health pools and your dodge/parry/spell resist doesn’t scale up even remotely as high as before the squish, so you can’t survive the two minutes it takes to kill them even with hyperinflated damage.

PvE twinking used to be a thing. People would create characters, stop their xp at the end of expansions, and form guilds to farm raids from that expansion.

The idea that players should have to form guilds to progress through old raids to reach current content for each expansion, literally taking years to level up, would be a huge fail even if Blizzard was willing to keep that content tuned so at-level players could do it as actual raids. But they’re not. They don’t want people hanging out in old content on their low level alts.

I’m sorry, what? this is extremely incorrect.

You get weaker as you level. You lose stats from your lvl 50 gear as you level to 60.

Most i’ve done is Antorus Mythic first boss, and half of the second boss, as a Frost DK.

An accurate assessment. What I don’t really get though is why he’s so obsessed with trying to control what players do. ActiBlizz gets its sub money regardless so our chosen activities should not matter in the slightest to them, as long as we’re paying for the game. I’ve not heard of another game developer with such a warped mindset.

Ha, current content is a dumpster fire, hard pass on that one.

If you quote just the half a sentence, sure I’m extremely incorrect.

Try quoting all of it, and actually understanding the context. Every level you gain, it requires more secondary stats to have % on a stat. If you weren’t geared at 50 and just walk straight into collecting gear at 51, you won’t feel the power loss because you are getting more stats as you level because you’re getting gear.

Level 60 at ilevel 170, normal mode. You were saying?
