We haven’t heard anything about the flooring issue with housing. bugs happen but at least give us the courtesy of keeping us in the loop. Is there a solution in sight? Is the cause of the issue known? Should be be concerned about other issues? Literally any amount of transparency would be nice.
Just talk to us guys.

Cool. Thanks for the link and info.
What is the date on these fixes – and new content?

I have nor been to my house yet but one of my Discords reports the flooring bug is fixed now
12.0.7 is expected mid-June

I can confirm this… just walked into my house and the floors are back to the Silvermoon Mosaic they had always been set to. Did not have to change it back… walked out and back in, still sticks. There was a hotfix download earlier this afternoon, but I didn’t see any notes for it yet (notes often lag a hotfix as they don’t typically post those daily).

Other than the “hotfix soon” note in the PTR notes (weird place to put it, IMO) I don’t think there was anything.
Blizz is bad at communications.

I guess I’m glad that it is fixed. But I’ll sure miss how lively the housing forums were! There are some very creative people around here.
I just visited my alliance home and saw my glorious flagstone floors once again.

we’re hearing from them.
It’s all about new content, and cash shop stuff.
I think our best bet is to hope they come out with purchasable flooring on the cash shop. Then the hopeful sales from that will inspire them to fix the flooring so it can then be sold.
Money talks,
and Bullish walks.. straight down our gullets in the form of insincere apologies and pre-broken promises of improvement.
let’s chow down on what gets served up next.
The system is working. We want things fixed now; we are not in tune with a timeline of how game design and their fixes work. Our frustration accelerates and we get vocal about it (or try to be heard) because we are playing every day, often for hours.
They have got to stop burying changes & hotfixes in hard to find places. 90 percent of housing players seem to have no idea what’s going on with changes anymore.
This is not me faulting the playerbase. Blizz needs to do a better job communicating.

Yep. I am actually appreciative of the devs who are willing to communicate on 3rd party platforms because that isn’t – or shouldn’t be – their job. Blizzard should have comms people who get info from the devs and then share it with the customers. This is public affairs 101.

They should have a single dedicated Blizzard-controlled place for announcements and news and that place should be easy for customers (players) to find. Anything that is shared on a third party site should also be replicated on the dedicated place. Customers (players) should be directed to a single place where all of the most current and accurate information about bugs, fixes, patch plans, class changes, new content, etc… can all be found - preferably sorted by categories to make it easier to find the sought after information.
A lot of people don’t go to third party fan sites. A lot of people don’t use Reddit. A lot of people don’t use Discord. A lot of people don’t look at WowHead. While it’s great when information is shared on other sites, that same information also should be available at the same time in a more central location that all of the customers have access to.

Its the patch notes. It’s ALWAYS the patch notes. They are announced nearly every time.
