Many people do, many other people never post and just quit. The difference here is that they probably don’t extrapolate forum posts to actions.
They know for sure how many people have quit.
I am told that the survey for quitting is now back online, so they are aware that people are leaving.
As much as I am critical of them, I don’t think that they don’t care or don’t listen. It just may be that the solution is more in depth than we think. But that’s a different discussion.
Point is, I don’t think anybody assumes that they can ignore what people say when they have access to the data of the playerbase as a whole to see what actions they are taking.
I am just pointing out saying you are quitting and making a big fuss about it and then not quitting is far far worse for your cause than just quitting.
Amine
I am quietly pointing out that you can handwave it off all you like…doesnt change the fact that this expac is seeing a slow and steady exodus.
Id say that finding a way to slow that loss would be a good idea.
It’s just an echo of the tone of the OP or anyone who uses the “I’m the customer, they need to cater to ME” type of demand. That type of behavior totally alienates the company and when you do it to people like me, I’ll obstinately drag my feet on purpose before servicing you.
You think you’re getting something by being a haughty pig customer, but you’re just making a fool of yourself. And wondering why nobody will wait on you next time you’re there.
Putting flying in isn’t likely to save it. People who like this expansion are generally collectors. People who hate the expansion from what I can see are mostly raiders.
Flying really isn’t likely to change things for either of those groups. I want flying as well but the content I can use it in has outgrown its purpose for me because I have been playing all along.
That’s the thing. The OP isn’t saying they should cater to every single thing everyone wants… there saying that there are a few things that a LARGE % of wow players want… and that blizzard is effectively shooting it’s self in the foot by not providing those aspects in game.
Yup. when i started my business decades ago and was able to make $100-$150 an hour easily by giving my customers what they want/need.
Had I not been able to provide for them, they’d have found someone else who could/would.
As you point out, if I see my profits dwindling then something Im doing now needs to change, most likely, assuming there isnt a larger economic issue going on currently that would account for problem.
This company is hysterical.
Literally millions of customers just dying to throw money at them and instead of giving them what they want in a game, they do just the freakin opposite nearly every single time.
I swear I think the competition has a mole in the highest levels of the company pushing out crap ideas to help put the final nails in the coffin.
That’s the thing right there. You nor the OP nor I have any idea what the population count is, therefore no idea what would constitute a majority. Vast or not.
I don’t want high elves - I already am one. I know flying is coming to the game, there’s no reason to keep demanding for something that’s already been planned from the beginning of this xpac. I don’t need PvP vendors - the stuff my alts make or I get from honor level upgrades is good enough. You don’t need specific PvP gear from a vendor this xpac to PvP. Pretty sure the high-end PvPers are doing just fine.
So don’t try to talk for the VAST MAJORITY cuz you can’t. I’m the vast majority and I don’t agree with the OP. So what?
They should just give those away for free and make bank on the grenades!
For those who don’t know you’d pay the same $200 fee and wait for the long background check PER grenade. I mean the IRS could be pay off the national debt in a couple of weekends!
You know full well ridiculous requests like that aren’t what the OP are talking about. Or is adding PvP Vendors as ludicrous as banning half the playerbase?
