Blizzard, Thank You For Solo Content

The largest land animal known to be taken down by a single hunter is an African bush elephant shot by José Fénykövi in Angola in 1955. Weighing an estimated 25,000 pounds (11,340 kilograms), it was confirmed as the largest elephant on record at the time.

It doesn’t take an entire group. It just takes one person with a lot of skill. Once again, proving that your opinion is only here to blow smoke and sound convincing.

Aside from the fact that I fundamentally disagree with your premise that you should be more rewarded for playing a group, the fact that you want solo rewards nerfed instead of group rewards increased is truly telling.

Sure then let’s send you into a mythic +2 alone ?

Don’t put words in my mouth.

I asked for tier 2 key levels to be increased.

I also said delves to be dropped to 684. Which ever is not game breaking.

End point is there should be fairness between group and solo players in rewards.

Oh so you want BOTH. Increased rewards for group, and nerfed rewards for solo, to widen the gap even further between the two, and somehow this is fair in your mind.

You have to be trolling.

We can pick one. The +2 key is the least damaging as delvers need hero gear.

I mean, I have a guardian druid with a 700 ilvl that could probably sell it while you are still getting carried through 8s. But I have a better idea. I think moving forward whether you post here or not I will continue to interact with the people who actually belong here and who actually have something constructive to add. If blizzard won’t do something about you then I guess I will do it myself.

I’m going to go run some delves and fill up my vault just for you.

But content is not designed around a single player finishing. That was the point.

Delves is but rewards are at group level which is impartial

LOVING delves and cant wait for solo housing next expansion.
Hoping that new Prey thing ends up being as good as it sounds.

Just giving feedback on this single post has earned me the most reports ever.

Is feedback looked down upon ?

So if you appreciate something and someone else doesn’t appreciate what you like they earn reports ?

This is always the elephant in the room with these arguments against current delve gear rewards.

It has more to do with some players desperately avoiding any sign of whining or weakness about the rewards in their own preferred content.

I have a buddy that runs Mythics/raids when he can. Time limited due to work and family. When he can’t make time to do the group content, he will run a few delves to “catch up” so to speak and rejoin the group content when he can. Gearing via delves during his down time is a good option for him IMHO.

Funny because the quote you linked continently cut the part where is said :

Increase +2 to 700 or
Decrease Delv reward to 684.

But just increasing the key level reward is less game breaking.

They excluded that.

So your buddy jumps into tier 11 - steam role the delves. Takes the easier gear and leaves ?

So you buddy could not do keys ?

Wowhead put out a post today where players are choosing not to harder content but are only taking hero gear and crests.

Your buddy is already doing group content. So why is he targeting easier content for gear ?

Your entire focus has been on delve gear rewards in this thread, coupled with 'the socializing is healthier" argument. I think it’s fair to say your main focus is getting delve rewards nerfed, not buffing your own content.

This is the last response to show you have no clue about this game. So here is a comprehensive list I keep on hand because of posters like you who actually understand nothing about this game.

Solo Content in this game:

Questing Content

  1. Main Storyline & Zone Quests: Completing the storyline quests in each expansion’s zones.
  2. World Quests (with limitations): Many can be done solo, especially in older content.
  3. Solo Daily Quests: Available in various zones and factions.
  4. Class & Profession Quests: Many class-specific and profession quests are soloable.

Dungeons & Raids (Soloable via Mechanics / Bosses)

  1. Old Dungeons (Level 1-60): All classic dungeons can be soloed at max level or with level-appropriate gear.
  2. Some Classic Raids: Certain bosses in older raids can be soloed or farmed.
  3. Mythic+ Dungeons: Cannot be soloed, but some lower-level or easier dungeons can be completed for quests or achievements.

World Bosses & Rare NPCs

  1. World Bosses: Occasionally can be soloed depending on difficulty and gear.
  2. Rare Spawn NPCs: Many rare NPCs can be killed solo for loot and achievements.

Achievements & Collections

  1. Meta Achievements: Many require solo activities like exploring zones.
  2. Pet Battles: Can be done solo against NPC trainers.
  3. Mount & Toy Collection: Acquiring mounts, toys, and companions.
  4. Exploration Achievements: Discovering all points in zones.

Professions & Crafting

  1. Gathering Professions (Herbalism, Mining, Skinning): Can be done solo in the world.
  2. Crafting Professions: Crafting gear, potions, and other items.
  3. Cooking & Fishing: Solo activities with various recipes and catches.

Player-vs-Environment (PvE) Content

  1. Scenario & Quest-Related Instances: Many soloable or designed for single players.
  2. Pet Battles: As mentioned, soloable against NPC trainers.

World Events & Seasonal Content

  1. Darkmoon Faire: Mini-games, quests, and profession quests.
  2. Brewfest, Hallows End, Winter Veil, etc.: Seasonal quests and activities.
  3. Event-specific Quests: Many are soloable.

Garrison & Class Hall Missions

  1. Garrison Missions (Warlords of Draenor): Fully soloable.
  2. Class Hall Campaigns & Missions (Legion): Soloable storylines and missions.

Achievements & Exploration

  1. Exploring all zones / Achievements: Fully solo.
  2. Leveling Up & Gear Progression: Solo activities to improve character power.

Other Solo Activities

  1. Fishing, Hunting, Farming: For materials and gold.
  2. Reputation Grinding: With various factions.
  3. Transmog Collection: Acquiring and customizing gear.

Group Content:

Current Dungeons, Raids, Mythics, PvP, and Guild Achievements

Nearly 80% of the content in the game is SOLO content. Meaning the other 20% is either solo friendly (like queuing solo) but needs a group, or absolutely requires a group. WoW started being a solo-friendly experience in 2020 with Shadowlands with Covenants. Garrisons and Class Halls were solo, but not very friendly. TWW is the first true solo experience with:

  • Follower Dungeons
  • Story Mode Raiding
  • Easier Gear System
  • Warbands
  • Shared Renown

I know your thoughts on the game, as wrong as they are, and I see it very differently. From my experience and understanding, people are allowed to play however THEY choose because YOU are not paying for their experience in this game. It might help you to actually play the game and do some research on it before offering very bad takes. You claim people should play together, but insist on telling them HOW to play, rather than allowing them to find their own path of enjoyment. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, even the wrong ones like yours, but I think there are some BIG details that you have overlooked.

Can’t make it any clearer, and I am over you, your consistent trolling, and your opinion on and demands of others. Thankfully, Blizz does everything the opposite way of what you are suggesting, so any further communication with you is time I am wasting where I could be doing something more productive (which pretty much encompasses everything else on the planet).

Yes. Atleast it should be balanced and rewarded in full fairness.

Why is solo content competiting with group level rewards ?

Why are groups getting lower rewards for participating in a challenging environment?

Why are most players including myself not pushing higher than 10’due to called rewards ?

It is really nice having more content that i can do solo. a lot of times after a long day of work i don’t have the energy to be in discord running keys or raids and such. So its nice to be able to just hop on and have a quiet evening doing delves and such

stealing for future reference for the next batch of trolls who bring up the circus show idea that wow is a ‘group’ game lmao.

I mean, I will gladly reply to anybody else in this thread. But that guy just gets on my absolute last nerve. It’s none of his business why someone else is doing delves for gear if they don’t need it. Doesn’t matter whether they need it or not. The only thing that matters in this game is if somebody wants to do it and if they have the ability to do so. The guy has been a troll since day one nobody likes him. His opinion is garbage. He should probably just leave the forum because no one is ever going to take him seriously especially on a throwaway character from a classic account and refuses to even unhide so we can see what he has or has not accomplished which I’m putting money on is probably not much. :woman_shrugging:
