Correct me if I’m wrong but wow has always been a pve game so the development team neglects pvp content.
We’re getting a new pvp map for the first time in years.
WoW has deep roots in PvP. The game launched with many PvP servers that became very popular. There were lots of world PvP videos from the beta I remember watching. And even on PvE servers there was PvP.
Also the war between the factions was very relevant. Literally the original cinematic shows this.
Modern retail is heavily PvE focused, yes, but that wasn’t the origins of the game.
Settle down. You don’t even play the game.
Blizzard simply does not respect their PVPers

they love the PVE casual crowd. Housing anyone? Monthly traders vendor dressup gameplay? How many new zones, dungeons and raids do you get per xpac?
pvp gets what? 45 minute wait times on DPS and recolors of pve skins as rewards…oh and this seasons’ vicious mount? The worst I have seen in 2 seasons of playing this game.
On the bright side you don’t have to be a paying customer as long as you farm 300k gold a month…
Solo Shuffle… anyone?
BG Blitz… anyone?
Deephaul Ravine… anyone?
Vicious Bloodstones (a PvP gold making source)… anyone?
Voidstorm… anyone?
Best PvP Gearing System ever… anyone?
New Arena Maps… anyone?
Slayer’s Rise… anyone?
All of those PvP updates have been Dragonflight, The War Within, Midnight.
Blizzard clearly hates PvPers.
PVE makes the money, PVP doesn’t. Token sales are everything. I think I’d be safe to say the average casual pvp enjoyer doesn’t know about the amount of gold they could be making off selling blood stones to buy those tokens.
If they would just bring back a season HWL/GM grind. We would instantly have the classic crowd(majority at least)coming back to the retail player pool. 3 Month seasons with hard resets. Recolor old tier and mounts. Throw a renown track to grind for the casual dads. You could pretty much instantly bring in strict pvers for the rewards and more people who love pvp. Its a win-win for all parties. The PvErs cried about plunderstorm but still did it. If we can take advantage of their tears, our side of the game would flourish.

WoW has always had pvp, pvp has even been around sense day 1, it’s the new staff that took over that does not like pvp.
Less than 1% of everything else, and full of bugs and exploiters. Ya thanks blizzard LOL
Doesn’t really do anything unless most of your team uses them. You’ll still be waiting for them to catch up unless you want to run in and 1v40.
The entire game is filled with bugs - it’s not just a PvP issue.
My fellow premade queue synchers aren’t ‘exploiters’ which is why Blizzard hasn’t addressed it. It’s not an issue. It’s just a group of highly skilled individuals playing together.

There’s just not many more things they can add for PvP… feature wise. Dragonflight/The War Within/Midnight have brought in the most requested PvP features. We wanted Solo Queues - we got it. Blizzard knew that Solo RBGs would be a bad idea - and it has been… but they gave it to us, anyway. We wanted the WoD gearing system back - and they even improved upon that. We wanted an Epic BG - we’re getting it. We wanted a PvP area similar to what we got in MoP - and we’re getting it with Voidstorm. PvPers wanted a gold making source, so they can PvP all day long, and make some gold. We got it. PvP (feature wise) has never been better… than Dragonflight/The War Within/Midnight.
Sure they could, or they could at least keep working on the stuff they already have.
We didn’t, we got blizzard weird version that clearly hasn’t been doing well.
It’s not actually solo, people can queue with healers. So again, no.

Are we though? In reality we are just getting a “reskin” and it’s going to not go well because of exploiters and it’s going to be decided by the very first fight, and that’s the worst thing to do.
