Blizzard should make Void Elves unlocked at the start

yep…it should just be like vanilla…when you create your new character, they give a little cinematic giving a brief overview of your race…

then you learn the rest as you quest & level up in the start zones.

no need for these “unlocks”, especially since BfA is long gone. :100:

Hopefully, we keep Mastercraft as that one calls out the limbs.

like flying, new races were never a problem until Wow made it into one. They create problems and “enable” solutions

Half of the requests/demands I see for void elves getting something new are predicated on unchecked narcissism and/or a need to see them draw more people back to the Alliance, so to me, it’s not much of a surprise to see OP saying they need to be unlocked for everyone while leaving out the 9 other allied races in the same boat.

Blizzard will need to unlock all of them eventually because having to jump through hoops to unlock them in BfA was never going to be sustainable after that expansion ended, but a lack of foresight is distressingly common among game companies, it seems.

Void Elves Telegrus Rift isn’t even an area. It has 1 repair guy and that’s it. Compared to Suramar, the Vindicar, etc, Void Elves are basically just, there, in a hole in space floating on a rock waiting.

It’s strange, so many races, classes, etc studying the void through that rift but it feels like an incomplete zone, a placeholder.
Even the void elf customization, it’s just 1 tab with 6-7 options. They don’t even have the same options as blood elves in regards to hair styles or jewelry customization or class options.
And with that whole shadowflame thing going around and all these dragons, no void elf figured out how to shoot lightning yet and only warriors know how to use shields after entering the void.

It’s weird. Pls update and make sparkly. Ty.

On the one hand, this does sound unironically cool

on the other hand, I don’t want that in this game that’s already been made. It would be a cool, niche idea for a different game, though.

I don’t see them ever removing the races already added in.

Then they need to stop watering them down and double down on unique features.

Most of the AR unique features is baked in the base races now except for maybe one customization option. One can look at the AR’s customization and see it as a downgrade even. (LFD and highmountain tureans are the worst offenders)

Culture wise datk irons are just angrier ironforge dwarves, while wild hammers are completely different culturally. Seeing the wildhammers treated as customization options while seeing dark irons have their own race is just depressing.

I was looking forward to the option of Dwarven Druids, Their Own Heritage Armor, Racials, and etc but since they are just options. It’s kind of sad really.

It really is, and it begs to queistion on why some of the early AR’s still exist.

Though it is a fixable thing.

Like have LFD a race toggle. I am pretty sure other alliance races has blind devotion to the light to be willing to be remade by the light like the dreanie.

And high mountain can get fel totem options that players want badly.

Allied races were always meant to be simple and using the assests of other races. Kul’Tirans were the exception and they’re extremely unpopular.

and they were the first to be paladins

Playable Nightborne don’t have access to all of Suramar, just the small enclosed courtyard of the Nighthold.

Considering the Void Elves’ background as a miniscule group of Blood Elf exiles, how would it make any sense for them to have a sprawling metropolis city in the vein of Suramar considering that their “race” was just birthed into the world? It wouldn’t.

The barren, floating rocks the Void Elves’ call home befits their station in the world perfectly.

Yeah. Just unlock them for everyone and have the current unlock requirements be moved to one of the requirements to unlock heritage armor.

Note: I have unlocked all of the allied races on both factions.

Please stop the entire “but alliance blood elves. I mean void elves will help the alliance population” silliness.

That being said, all ARs need to be unlocked baseline. For everyone. It was an ok enough feature that I could accept when it was current. But we are well past that.

It’s a crime that Suramar wasn’t phased into a capital after the quest chain was fully done

Nah. Floating Rocks isn’t a actually Zone nor Capital. Rather than being on a Barren Rock the Void Elves should atleast have a actually zone and Capital like in Northern Lordaeron with a actually city that is elven like that looks like the Highborne from Azsuna, and etc.

Yeah, the requirements should be removed already.

That would require Blizzard to care for new players

Rig wise, yes they are supposed to. Customization wise, they where not supposed to look too close to the main races.

They failed on that when they added the sl customizations giving the AR customizations to the main races except for one type of them (tenticles for VE, horn shapes on lfd, etc etc.)
