“Classic+” is a subjective term. One can say we’re already on it, or that SOM was/is “classic+.”
That said, if they ever rehost classic or crusade it better be with the wrath patch on there or those realms are doomed. The only good argument I’ve ever seen against it is the difficulty being ruined but this could obviously be retuned to remain difficult. But going back to either of those versions with all the issues which would never be fixed thanks to “nochanges,” ya, not happening ever again for me.
I want talent revamps as well but copying the wrath talents for vanilla is a terrible idea. Blizzard should take inspiration from the vanilla plus private server which revamped every talent tree and made each spec useful while sticking with the core design from vanilla. They managed to make every class more interesting to play and made each spec valuable while keeping with the vanilla design pillars and kept each class fully distinct and unique (unlike wrath which sought “balance” via homogenization). Blizzard needs to get creative with the talent revamps and do continuous tweaks via patches that shake up the meta.
Would much rather they fill up some of the old zones barren with content with new quests and add in the zones they scrapped from original vanilla. Leveling is core to the vanilla experience, it doesn’t need to sped up light speed.

Good luck with that. Right now, I would place odds at 80% that this Classic stuff never makes it to MoP. I think if they do a Cata Classic it will be such a total flop that this whole thing dies right then.

Well if TBC got a rerelease then it only makes sense for the expansions that were better than it to get one too
I think you missed the point l, it does not matter if they were better, Blizzard have drugged this through the mud so much that not enough people will be left playing to make it worth their while to create them.
Cata Classic seems to already be on a path to push people away.
The only downside to mop was at the time the furry art didn’t fit into the game so the style was a weird choice. The expansion itself was amazing.
Yeah i couldnt careless about art. The expansion itself in terms of classes, pvp, pve was just better, which is what matters most.

I don’t think Blizzard would be hiring a Senior Product Manager for Classic WoW if they think this product line was doomed for failure.
Almost guaranteed they do Cata Classic, and MoP Classic would be a no-brainer. These expansion re-releases aren’t a huge lift compared to retail.
But the true question is will Blizzard put the time and money into Classic + or will they proceed to go into Classic Cataclysm

I don’t think the gear in vanilla needs any changes.
anything “new” this dev team tries to create will be bad. Whether it’s new raid content, or anything else. Blizzard still, to this day, does not understand why Vanilla/TBC was better than everything else. They can’t even wrap their heads around their own product.
If they did Vanilla+, all I’d really like to see is some changes to make worthless specs viable. Enhance shaman, Boomkins, and Ret paladins need a buff. Prot Paladins need a buff, and enhance shamans need a viable tank spec in order to be more fairly comparable to paladins.
It’s not like you have to roll a panda to play MoP. I hated the panda so I never rolled one. I still played through mop and enjoyed the expansion
classic + would ideally reverse the lower xp per level + raids going MC-OXY-BWL then forget the time sinks after; looking at you AQ20/40.

I think my order is Wrath > MoP > Legion > Vanilla > BFA > TBC > WoD
I didnt mind Cata so its probably tied with TBC and WoD
MoP is too hard for classic players like yourself, its fine, just hang out in vanilla.

Depends. What’s the revamp.
I liked the old honor system for the most part. The only part I didn’t like was the “decay to private”. Being required to burnout just to MAINTAIN your rank was a stupid design.
I would change it so the decay would only take you to 0% of your current rank; to derank you’d have to get a dishonorable kill to push you past the 0%.
