Blizzard please reconsider your stance on Zandalari Warlocks

How can KT be druids when they committed mass genocide of the Drust and wiped them clean off the face of Azeroth?

There’s always weird things that can’t be explained. But monks are more simple than warlocks when it comes to making sense for a race. They’re simply fighters who can harness spirit energy. You don’t think trolls, who listen to the spirits all the time, should be able to harness spirit energy?

Per their own lore, they didn’t have spell casters either and yet after the huge backlash at Blizzcon, they received Mages.

That’s not how that works.

Learning inner peace is probably a little easier/more appealing than learning how to summon demons.

Also, summoning demons and asking for their help is a little close to Loa territory. Zandalari are very traditional in their beliefs and maybe asking demons for power is too taboo for them.

Not all Monks were taught by pandas. Ogres and Scarlet Crusade are examples.

Literally happens in the main campaign.

I’m not going there, because I’m not here to hate on other people getting more options for their class, and taking the joy of the expansion’s main selling point away from them. Let them have whatever class, lore doesn’t make sense in this game anyways.

I’m worried about what is owed to my class, not wasting time hating on other classes to have more removed from them. As a Warlock main, we know the pain of having good things taken away from us year after year, so I’m not going to wish that same horrible feeling upon other classes.

So for every class/race combo in the game, it needs to not only be possible, but also reasonably common. Could Zandalari become Warlocks? Yes absolutely. Does it happen frequently? No it doesn’t. They haven’t had enough dealings with Fel magic and the members of their society that do embrace the Fel tend to be excommunicated rather quickly. So it’s a line of study the average citizen tends to avoid.

Not every Warlock has the power to control demons, and the study of demons isn’t the only power/knowledge Warlock dabble in.

And yet you’re arguing lore…

I also dislike this opinion that I hear from people. Homogenized races isn’t what this game is about. And it’s what makes other games bland.

You’re not owed anything. And while you may not like Nightborne, it doesn’t mean you were neglected.

Honestly my bigger issue with how they handled it was the lame excuse, at least claim all the zandalari warlocks went with zul… and thus were executed as traitors.

I meant to say “troll Warlock.”

Or just admit you removed it last minute so Alliance doesn’t cry out that Zandalari got all 10 classes.

I’m unfamiliar with the Alliance storyline, but I’m pretty sure you misunderstood. A warlock isn’t a warlock without the fel. The fact we defeated the Legion doesn’t equate to us removing fel magic.

That’s not what I said. I said instead of turning to fel magic zandalari would instead turn to the loa. As the loa replace that niche in their culture.

Of which the king of all the ZD does this during the main campaign for the horde. He binds his bloodline with a loa (Bwamsandi) to gain power. Where if it were someone else they might do that with a demon instead.

Culturally they are different and them not having a lock makes this clear.

I don’t understand what this means. Turn to their spirit gods for what?

I’m alliance and don’t honestly care? Can’t speak for others but yeah… doesn’t really bother me, they could have balanced that with wildhammer dwarves or something later.

Warlocks are also forbiden to orcs and humans, yet both races get to play them, and they have a secret society/hangout spot in their respective capital cities. So please, stop with the excuse “their empire forbids it” for Zandalari. Since when does every person in society follow all the rules?

Oh, I see now.

Honestly, considering how irreverent some individuals clearly are, or how many people get sent to Vol’dun to die , it shouldn’t be entirely written off. I would assume some of them would turn to the dark magics out of some desire for vengeance.

Here is the example.
