Blizzard needs to support its Aging community

People with disabilities still want to play the game in all it’s complexity, just at a pace that doesn’t overwhelm them. That’s why you’d keep mechanics but just slow them down. I think I explained that already.

Scaling the easy mode mobs and also the gear prevents exploitation. If you switch out of easy mode the gear scales back to baseline ilvl. You won’t be able to farm gear in easy mode, then switch it off without losing significant stats and ilvl throughout regular content. I think I explained that as well.

Verification for access to easy mode won’t actually matter. If the gear attributes automatically downgrade once easy mode is turned off, using it becomes pointless to potential exploiters. They’ve made no gains for good items, high ilvl, or any prestigious achievements. At the most they get mog and mounts if easy mode allows mounts to drop. Maybe it won’t? That’d be up to devs. Posting on players armory page they’re doing easy mode content - those with handicaps won’t care. Those without handicaps aren’t going to have any bragging rights to topping leader boards in slow-mo version.

A mandatory dungeon and gear scaling system engaged when you choose access to easy mode isn’t going to allow people in full regular mythic gear go and wipe out dungeons. They already have gear level requirement thresholds for heroics, they can utilize those parameters to require participants in easy mode not surpass baseline ilvl. Thus, average well geared players wanting to try easy mode must be willing have their gear ilvl be dropped until they switch the mode off. No better gear will come from their efforts. Thus, for a normal gamer, easy mode is pointless. They’d get the same or better materials and item level drops from regular content.

Many people here besides myself have seen, stated and noticed that needs to accomodate players with slower reaction times do exist beyond what average gamers percieve as ‘easy’ in the game as it stands. I don’t know how else to say it any better than those before me have put it.

Lastly. I’m over this discussion. I appreciate if you take the effort to respond and refute all these points, but it boils down to the fact we have differing opinions. That’s totally fine. I’ve stated my stance, you’ve stated yours. No point to take another spin on the merry-go-round. We’re not going to change one another’s feelings or thoughts on the matter.
