It’s the same for alliance now with Seal of Matyrdom. Skimming through some logs gave me the impression that SoM restores even more mana than a shaman.
And I agree: that shouldn’t be the case for either faction.
Yeah, they can. Tremor Totem is unreliable for breaking Fears, you can play around Grounding Totem for Polymorph, Shamans have no counter to Stuns.
With 5 stacks of Maelstrom Weapon, yes. It requires preparation.
4 Shamans in a Raid with SR = 1500-1800 mana per minute for other casters. A lot, sure. Not infinite, though.
I’m not saying they’re not strong or overtuned but you’re being disingenuous.
Obviously OP is more PvP orientated, but based on the statement made when Seal of Martyrdom was buffed to compete with it I would imagine they both get nerfed in P4 when that gets released.
Blizzard was pretty clear that a) it wants mana/resources to matter and b) that the SoM buff was a temporary fix to alleviate discrepancy between factions during the remainder of this patch only.
