They got mad when they couldn’t buy DoTA so they made their own.
And then they took it out back and shot it, because it wasn’t profitable enough, because everyone left to play LoL and DoTA 2, lmao.
They KILLED their own game, because they weren’t making enough money off of it. And people were still playing it- it wasn’t entirely dead.
I actually had a friend that kept playing it even into maintenance mode, because it was more unique than LoL and DoTA.
It’s a shame what good things will die just because they don’t make enough money. (Lol, WildStar had a similar fate- loved that MMO.)
As for the music- the raids and dungeons generally have some of the best stuff I’ve heard in WoW.
I will agree with what the other poster has said though- I really like FF14’s music. They can seemingly do more ‘genres’ than WoW- most WoW music is purely orchestral. FF14 has that too, but also mixed in with metal and other fast-paced stuff like that.
They’re both good, just different.
