Blizzard misreading their community if they think Druid Pajamas is what we want out of Transmog

I have a guildy who’s 50 and I’m 100% sure I’m going to see her night elf in fairy wings the next time we run M+.

I’m also 50, and I still have a DK who’s wearing the wendigo onesie.

My 27 year old son says he plans to get the set.

And so do I.

At 57, it’s a long time since I worried about whether other people thought my behaviour was age-inappropriate.

Besides, my gnome hunter is going to look absolutely adorable in that outfit.

I think you would be very surprised to see how many people genuinely like playing silly on their toons.
I know I was after reading the forums today.
Took me a while to be credited for mine so I didn’t get to check it out until after I was about to log out, but we had multiple people online tonight wearing it or parts of it, and one of the most interesting things one player said was it contained one of very few items that was a proper boot piece for pandaren.

I am not sure WHY they did this specific style. Makes no sense to me.
But don’t think for a second age has anything to do with attachment to fantasy characters players have spent decades with.

If anything, the older you are, the most inclined you are to pursue these silly aspirations.
Kids these days are too worried about being cool on the internet to have that much fun.

Because people like memeing.

I don’t know a single person who wore the Yeti costume because it looked “good”, they all wore it because it looked utterly ridiculous.

That shouldn’t be something to aim for.

You people turn every minor thing into an apocalyptic event. It’s so silly.

wow.
Imagine thinking that you’re going to make any good points with other people while insulting them.
Yeah…no. Maybe you should think about maturity.

ill stick with my warrior sets thank you very much

Why the heck not? This is a GAME. Games are to have fun!

they sacrificed class sets for this!

This is a game. We’re here to have fun.

Just because silly costumes aren’t your idea of fun, it doesn’t mean they’re not somebody else’s idea of fun.

Y’know, at least this one has some pieces you could feasibly use for a normal transmog. No way to make the yeti outfit work with a proper mog suit.

laughs at 49 wearing his drood pyjamas :upside_down_face:

One of the biggest “turn offs” (I guess I could call it this? haha) I have with WoW is that it is a STRUGGLE to find normal-looking, casual transmog (or in this case, silly). I don’t always want to be a Demon Hunter with beefy equipment, or fel-stained equipment. Sometimes, I just want to wear a nice casual outfit. Maybe I want to dress up for Halloween: this new outfit is perfect for that. I just wish we had more options to do so. I spend SO MUCH in-game money and time collecting outfits in other games as well, and they usually always find a balance between fantasy (our normal transmog) and casual items (like a nice winter jacket, or winter boots, etc). It doesn’t surprise me in the slightest that tons of people will buy this transmog set because it’s as close to casual clothing as we have, along with that PJ set from Blizzcon. I really do hope that there are in-game obtainable casual transmog sets in the future, and not just in the shop, though. So yes, as a young-aged player, I absolutely want this.

Its pretty I bought the $20 version not my fault none of you can tmog it into a cute outfit . Yet yall wanna complain when you got yeti pjs and $10 pets and toys and $25 shop mounts . To each their own but i like it , I just dont see the outrage tbh . yall pay more for pve carries thru wow tokens n shop mounts n subtime then some $20 optional tmog . Its 8 separate pieces you dont have to wear the ugly parts at all . you can also buy it ingame with ingame gold so i dont see the fuss :woman_shrugging: :joy:

I wore it because vulpera are utterly adorable in it.

I’m still wearing the pants, because Blizzard apparently doesn’t think hunters should have decent looking white pants.

Basic, neutral colored pants. Pants that are not torn, and don’t have weird giant stitches down the sides, or patches, or worn out spots, and which are not 8-bit low rez disasters. Dear god, I would kill for some nice pants in this game.

If you struggle that bad then you are not trying to tmog hard enough , I can make plenty of normal casual tmogs . It just takes creativity .

Take a look around, people do it all the time. Dress-codes and the latest cliquey fashions. Can’t see it ever stopping. (I prefer comfortable trousers/jeans and t-shirts)

I mean, that’s totally your opinion. I disagree and wish there were more options.

I’m 54 and I often play WoW in my pajamas, especially since this COVID stuff happened. I don’t see the harm in toons wearing PJ’s, it’s a bit of fun.
