Obviously WoW needs to emulate these games.

I hear there are only like 46 people playing with 9,245 alts each at 120.

Bonifacius, You must be a young person with a crappy job if youā€™re asking to have the sub price reduced. Free To Play will NOT fix them problems you think this game has.

And LOTRO and SW:OR are anecdotal. Compared to the sub numbers WoW has, those are a joke. Iā€™ve played them both. LOTRO was mediocre at best, and SW had a great story, but needed A LOT of polishing that a free game would NEVER get.

Iā€™d rather pay a sub, knowing that part of that money would keep the devs creating content (whether itā€™s good or bad), and knowing that the quality of people who would play a free game are kept OUT. Iā€™ve also played Fortnite, and I know what kind of people THAT attracts too.

The moment they make WoW F2P it will die. I remember when they did that with SWTOR. I logged in once, saw the mess and uninstalled the game.

I would quit in a hot second if it were free to play.

The influx of pay loot chests etc would be horrid.

Just look at what happened in Cod

Iā€™d up the gold limit (isnā€™t it like 100g?) but make them unable to trade gold with people and remove some of those restrictions (mostly chats) becauseā€¦ honestly, while leveling the game feels like a deserted island most of the time, it would suck to only be able to use /say chat if you finally ran into someone and befriended them.

The moment this game goes F2P is the day I go to GW2 or FFXIV and never look back.
