Blizzard Just Winning Now:

1 in 4 is giving them to much credit. 1/5000 is actually something id believe…

Honestly this.

People who assign racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic connotations to things that really aren’t any of those things, are more likely to be one of those things themselves.

i’d suggest Mr Hooves, but…that may also get you in trouble. course you could always try Vincent VanGoat, Billy the Kid or Totes McGoates.

…sorry, just remembering the names of players from Jesse Cox’s old Blood Bowl team from the short time he played in 2015.

Not as much as you love licking boots.

What the . . . ?!?!?!

I’m at a loss for words here, because I really believe they banned someone for a default pet name.

Semper Fi! :us:

They didn’t, though.

The guy came back later and admitted that his pet name was forcibly changed back to the default “Gorilla” four times. He wasn’t actioned for having the pet name of “Gorilla”. He was actioned because he named his pet something offensive (unknown what that was but it’s implied it was a racial slur) four times, and the fourth time finally earned him a suspension.

Okiedokie you can back the truck up with your judgements about other people’s worth thanks

It’s not attacking. Just because you disliked what i’ve suggested on why you think streaming isn’t a real job, that doesn’t mean i’m attacking.

“It’s an attack if i don’t like it”.

Plus, didn’t you say you have a job they pays you very well to live comfortably? Why would this a bother to you? You’re acting like streaming is going to take away what you have, or do something bad. I don’t get this irrational hatred towards them to a point where you say something blatantly wrong like “they don’t contribute to the society”, suggesting that their not real jobs. Not that’s a new thing in GD…

I have. Though you should follow your own advice, considering you just called them a leech but rarely explain on why they are… so…

Streaming video games has been around since 2010 and it will be around for much longer. It even has impacted on the video game industry.

As for Streaming itself, that’s been there for much longer, going back to the 1990’s. It’s still going to be required and used, for whatever reason may be. Because it is important tech. And as long it’s still going on, so will video game streaming.

But it has left a trace. All entertainment medium does.

Your position is coming from a place of honestly ignorance, especially considering your response to my “Your opinion is in the minority” is “That just shows my opinion is worthwhile, the mod isn’t always right.”. I mean just because your opinion is in the minority, doesn’t make it right or wrong by that virtue.

I say your opinion is in the minority, because it’s an unpopular opinion by that virtue, and that opinion is often not grounded in really any evidence that suggests that Streaming/YouTube isn’t a real job to do or that the negatives far outweigh the positives.

And i say it’s wrong because objectionably speaking, Streaming/YouTube-ing, gives you money via by ad-revenue and sometimes Patreon and even merc. And because of this, Big youtubers have grown their careers from here, and even expand beyond YouTube. Even the celebs who were already famous, uses YouTube and streaming to essentially advertise their stuff because it’s immensely profitable to do so. And this isn’t just the Entertainment, but things like health and news too.

As much the premise of this thread and the video to go along with it is frankly ridiculous, i don’t how this video is indicative of all streaming and YouTube videos as “not a real job”, “being a leech” or “not contributing to society” as you initially said. YouTube and Streaming are typically entertainment. Much like …any other entertainment in that medium.

Streaming CoD kids raging is no different in results then America’s funniest home videos. Filthyfrank is in no different in idea then Rodney Dangerfield. CNN on Youtube is still CNN.

Again, one video/streamer isn’t representative or indicative of all videos/streamers…

Also you might want to drop the hyperbole, it’s getting to a point of being dishonest. I’m simply telling you that streaming and youtubing, are infact real jobs and do contribute to society because they are entertainment.

…Mind filling me on how Quazii is a liar by the way? I’ve never heard of him until today.

Or Mr Toots…

So a clickbait video and thread then? Doesn’t surprise me any.

Am I not surprised ,oh gsh.

Sorry this screams click bait BS even if they somehow got suspended no way it would stick for default name. Unless this is a non NA-EU player I could see SA or something thinking maybe it was offensive.

Psssh small time banning stupidity here.

BGS took the crown for this in fo76 release. You have to try harder for stupid bans. Really hard.

BGS at fo76 release had lots of ban issues. and several ban parties after release.

Lots…One was people found the way into the famed qa smoke room. Months later even…they were hitting this place. The magical test place. That has chests. with all items. take the items, launder them across alts to make the trail impossible to trace.

They didn’t know how they got in. So…they shotgun banned anyone who seemed to have too much stuff. Not realizing some people really spam the hell out of a game and just get lots of stuff. So in the smoke ban parties they cut off many real players.

Oh so it was about his other pet names, :confused:ok

You are most certainly wrong. Players have had forced name changes due to blizzard’s own random character name generator.

Blizzard is completely imploding as a company.

Basically what happens when you fire your CS staff and leave everything to automated processes that poorly detect false positives.

OOP nevermind… looks like there was something more after all

Well, this ability crowds have will never cease to amuse me.

Someone try to make a point distorting the truth, and you can point out as much as you like, most people will always prefer the outrageous, fun and/or polemic lie over the truth.

The wonder of it is: Once a lie is built, people will ask for proof that it is, and not demand proof that it is not a lie.

Science has a good take on it, true science of course, demanding that something be falsifiable first, and then recognized as fact.

With the current state of Blizzard most lies become believable.
