Blizzard I've Implore you: No more Nature and Titan ruin zone please

To be honest, the OP isn’t entirely wrong either, we do need something new.

While I do enjoy nature-filled zones, green grasses, verdant forests, I do think certain tropes get over-used, and the Titan/Old God stuff is definitely high on the list of stuff I think has gotten stale over the years.

I want them to wrap it up with this Saga and I hope that they can come up with a new villain, something that would be interesting.

What? I have no idea.

Maybe we can travel through space and go to another planet and find entirely new beings.

I mean, we have the means to do that (with that ship we went to Argus with).

EDIT: Or since Ethereals are part of the Saga’s story maybe by the end, they’ll have us going to an entirely new dimension and doing stuff there.

I agree with you on the story. It was kind of… meh? But the zone itself was awesome. I love Halloween and spoopy things, so this zone is still one of my favorites.

If we set the story aside, the zone was kind of neat, yeah, the aesthetic was good.

I hated the hordes of trash mobs constantly pestering though. That always annoys me. I have little patience for constantly getting attacked every 5 feet.

Agreed. It definitely could have been less packed.

I liked Drustvar, but if you studied the witch trials like I did in college, well, that whole witch vibe was not working for me. The dark magic, yes.

I’ve always wanted to study the Salem incidents. I just can’t believe people would actually go and do horrible things like they did back then.

I try not to connect RL and In-game fantasy too much.

Sure, there were innocent people who were brutally killed after sham “trials”, and that sucks.

But just because a game has witches in it and said witches are evil doesn’t mean it has anything to do with real-life events. They were just using common tropes found in many pieces and forms of entertainment over the years.

Fact is, they made a satire of witch trials and how ridiculous they are in Drustvar and it’s one of the first questlines you do upon arriving there, an innocent girl about to be strung up on the gallows for being a suspected witch who turns out to be the best Crusader later on in the zone.

To me, that quest line was weird lol. It felt like The Crucible meets Seventh Son meets Police Squad / Naked Gun lol.

It was neat, and it was awesome for XP which is why I remember it so well.

Because each place they sent you for one of the proofs that she’s not a witch, would have 1-2 other quests near that same objective and each time you went out for something, you’d end up going out for 1 quest and finishing 2-3 more and the XP racked up fast.

I wish they’d do questlines like that again in modern times, I hate going out for 1-2 quests, it takes for fricken ever. Give me like 10 quests all in the same area, please, all at once so I can work on them all simultaneously like it used to be.

Sorry. I pretty much agree with you. But this made me laugh.

I didn’t notice the “reverse pun” until you point it out… fresh air in an industrial setting lol. I wonder if that was intentional.

On a planetary scale, and in the context of the Warcraft universe, I feel like it makes sense that most of the land would be undeveloped and thus, ‘nature’. Even Earth with our sprawling human civilization is still largely ‘nature’ when viewed from space and you have to squint to notice our presence.

OP, I agree with you.
I’ll i need is a race change to San’layn, become a Blood mage, and have my house :house_with_garden: in Revendreth, than that would my dream world. I would live in that Halloween :bat: fantasy all year round.
