Funny how that coincided with the lawsuit.
I am sure a PR team didn’t tell upper management this was one of things that needed to be done in order to mitigate damages in the lawsuit and upper management didn’t ask the devs to go thru the game and come up with a list of things they felt were problematic. And then that list of possibilities wasn’t looked at by the PR team and upper management for what would have the best impact in court and then the shorter list didn’t return to the devs for them to change (minus any wit or humour apparently).
Yeah, I am sure it is all just happy coincidence that the devs ‘asked for’ these changes right when it would make Blizzard look better in court by demonstrating their willingness to both change the culture and listen to their employees.
