They request that you send them links as evidence in the description itself
It’s crazy how many people are okay with: yeah, nah, sometimes we suspend people breaching our our ToS every couple of months.
It will be more effective to ask Blizzard for tokens.
Have any of you naysayers ever wonder why players you reported aren’t instantly banned?
Can you imagine the grieving that would happen? You out roll someone on a pretty purple piece of gear, they get pissed and report you for boting, and you get a suspension or ban, at the moment the report was made. Wouldn’t that be great?
Don’t even pretend it wouldn’t happen, AV kicking before the match began happened. There are idiots among us.
It’s also possible you are just wrong, Blizzard investigated the player you reported and found nothing wrong, they really are just farming. And you’re observations aren’t what you think they are.
Or they are giving the player enough rope to hang them selfs. IRL if the cops find out someone is dealing drugs, they don’t run in and make the arrest, they watch for quite a long time, for the same reason.
And lastly, as you all already know, Blizzard tends to ban in waves. And all those reports you made actually do matter in their decision. But you also know, you will never know, Blizzard doesn’t share that information.

Of course there would be false reports, which is why the GM core previously investigated it extensively.
Maybe the guys getting summoned and soaking hundreds of DHKs are just legitimate farmers that think, yup this is fun. Or the hunters that allow you to tag all their mobs and continue to automatically kill them over and over for you are nice guys. Alternatively, the ones that will get a buff purged and just recast until their mana is drained 100%, drink, and continue this behavior know how vital Arcane Intelligence is above all else. This all is how players actually engage with the game, yeah?
I think many people are confused about the current system due to it being sorely worse than the legacy systems around investigating and penalizing those who breach ToS. While automation is cost saving, the product in question should not depreciate in quality due to it.

The pure fact that the YouTube videos that the " How to Report Hacks/Exploits/Cheating" page asks for as evidence have 0 views. If they looked at what they requested it would have a view on it.
If you are unable to use the in-game option to report a player for cheating or if you would like to file a detailed report, including videos and screenshots, you can send an email to “Hacks@Blizzard.com”.
I have apparently been reported as a bot a number of times.
Usually fishing pools but some times mean and skin farming.
The reason i know this is the little blizz logo in the resulting whisper.
I have all my conversation channels tabbed, i dont see guild in world, i dont see world in party/raid LFG is its own tab etc.
I use carbonite, i got all the fishing pools annotated on my map, i’ll chat with guild or watch LFG while i continue to run the node to node route till i’ve got about 200 fish or so.
I dont see the guy asking for the 11th time, hey are you a bot in world chat.
I do kind of the same thing for skin/meat farming, just no nodes, i’ll drop a map marker on the kill zone, get a few zones of dead things, then come back and loot/skin them in a lump.
If they just auto banned, i would be banned for playing the game normally.
