Blizzard, if you want new players to play PvP then fix random battlegrounds!

I know right…Random BGs are so broken…nerf hunters!

Oh we agree there. That’s why i said the bit about cross faction bgs, this would kill sync queue.

I only play random bgs though so i don’t really care about what happens in epics

As was already explained. People under honor level 30 can get into BGs with high honor level people if they are grouped with a higher honor level person.

Otherwise, people under honor level 30 play others in the same low honor level bracket.

BUT, that applies to non-epic random BGs. I’m not sure about epic BGs and it doesn’t apply to BG Blitz.

Many suggestions have been presented here and probably have been considered by Blizzard already. Keep in mind Blizzard is probably working on 11.2 Patch. If we see any changes, they would be for the next expansion or even Midnight.

What you play today has been decided 2-3 years ago.

A long time ago, I suggested that people start using consistent terminology for two things that are quite different.

5 mans should be referred to as premades and what is going on in epic BGs should be referred to as q-syncing.

When you say premade here, most people will assume that you are just talking about 5 man groups. What is happening in epic BGs is an entirely different thing and nobody but the q-syncers think q-syncing is good for the game.

I’m surprised how often players in BG are also in Denial about the Qsync existence when someone suggest there are QSyncs on the other side.

I’m ok with 5 man premades, sure it can be hard in a 10 man BG, but players have to learn that there are competitive players in PVP and a little challenge should motivate them. I personally prefer fighting groups that are stronger than me and I don’t mind losing.

QSyncs on the other hand are tipping the scale in Epics to their advantage. Cross-Faction should fix that.

I think there is little to no crossover between premade community players and rbg/competitive players.

proof?

For me the problem isn’t necessarily pre-mades especially when it comes to regular battlegrounds. It is players who queue up with 300 item level and expect to be carried by the rest of the team. For the life of me I don’t understand how folks don’t PvP here and there from 0-70 and save their honor points that way they have at least full honor gear?

no not really
a lot of people assume 40 mans

like queue a bg no one will type in chat “horde sync q” they always type “horde premade”
i thought the same (and im a genius)

because i can do 0-70 in world record pace without ever setting foot in pvp, then get my first honor set in like 3-5 bgs

Ask anyone who bought a new account after being banned. They roll people in the sub 30 honor level bracket, seen some screenshots of the scoreboard of all low honor levels with these people going 50-0. This has been well known for ages

This does not apply to blitz though

You can? I mean if you queue epics you don’t really hurt your team, but randoms are a different story.

If you queue during the day, there are less emotional attached premades who can’t play without one another.

i usually do epics for trinket 2 set and weapon then q both epic and normal

either way u get to ‘suffer’ with my rat alt for like 4 games and are blessed with a lifetime of my unstoppable power or something

I hear you, I level slow because I hate quests and dungeons so I end up capping honor from 0-70 like 4 times. LOL!

No it’s an opinion, you know that’s what forums are for, to communicate an opinion. You disagree with me, and that is your right, the majority know it is true.

40 minutes in a level 20 queue last night…sure that’s making it up. And just to be clear, I’m speaking about all levels of PVP.

I agree and to add, those who are “downers” and tell the team to give up are much worse than facing a premade.

They don’t try and make facing a premade even worse.

an opinion based exclusively on feelings.

the majority know its true yet no one can prove it? yeah… sure lol.

ah ok, so you’re judging the health of pvp off a random anecdotal queue experience you once had. that’s not very telling of anything.

What do you think? You think PVP pop is increasing? What makes you think that? What do you really think? Let’s hear your opinion. I’ll wait.

Like I said, ask the majority of players on here, they will agree PVP population is down. It’s not based on feelings, it’s the amount of time players are waiting for queues to pop.

Solo shuffle, no one is doing Rated BGs, even Blitz is slow to pop. Have you been living under a rock?
