Yeah honestly, it just seems like a much better use of money. And more useful too.
Free tattoo, free beta and free game when it launches
Spend 500 on a tattoo which Iâll instantly regret⌠or spend 50 on a video game I can return if I dislike⌠Hmm, I gotta think about this one.
I already have a tattoo! âŚwhat? itâs under the fur. âŚno, Iâm not shaving it off you creep!
Still no, not worth a key
Thatâs a hard pass. Iâd rather get my ex girlfriendâs name tattooed across my forehead.
Iâd do it. Already have the Maw of the Damned and a Reinhardt Tattoo on my left arm. Unfortunately, i found out two days after the fact that the closest shop near me was two days ago in Los Angeles and well I canât go back in time.
wasting a free game for a tattoo that lasts up to 6 days
Thatâs still six days you have to live with a visible mark of shame, then the rest of your life with the invisible shame.
Thatâs not what a Flash tattoo is⌠A flash tattoo is âStockâ image⌠you know like all those tattoos that are on posters in every tattoo shop⌠they are flash tattoos. Tattoos are permanent.
I learned something new today. Thanks!
Wonder if Blizz would give me something for the dwarf Mountaineer and bear I have tattooed on my back.
No, but it tells me that they really want people to have a sunken cost fallacy for their new game.
I could see myself getting the icons for the old diablo games, beta or no beta, simply for the memories I have of playing them with my dad and lil brother.
I saw that it was temporary tattoos. Twitter is actually where I initially saw it.
Just figured you were upping the ante.
I would totally do it if the tattoo was small like the Diablo ones. I already have pretty much every part of my body covered in tattoos. Most of them I got on a whim, usually because I was hanging around the shop that day and it was dead and itâs like they say âhang out long enough in a barber shop and youâre bound to get a haircutâ They arenât for everyone that is for sure, but some of the best things about getting tattoos is having good stories about them. Not saying that it would be a great story, but it would at least be a lot better than my usual answer when people ask me why I got a particular one which is " I was just hanging out at the shop one day and saw it on the wall/in a book/ or other random location and thought it was cool".
People that arenât into tattoos usually donât understand how that could be a reason because to them they think that if you get one that it has to have some sort of deep meaning instead of just getting it for the hell of it, or because it fit perfectly in that emoty space above my knee, etc. Also, since I am on the subject, for those of you that arenât into tattoos, itâs fine to ask me about my tattoos and why I may have gotten them, but for the love of god, please stop asking me how much did it cost or how much did all of my tattoos cost. I donât keep track of that kind of thing and certainly would never even attempt to do the math and add up the cost of all of them even if I did have the cost of each one individually.
Besides, itâs kind of rude, like if you were to go and ask a woman how old she is or how much she weighs, I am just a bit nicer about answering your question than a woman would be in that situation and I am pretty sure that people out there with a lot of tattoos would agree with me, especially since it is the #1 question I get from people about my tattoos. Also, when you become good friends with your artist and spend time both hanging out in their shop and doing lots of things outside of the shop, your prices for them are not the same as if the average joe were to walk in to get the same thing so in all reality, even if I did give you a correct answer it would bear no weight since you certainkly would not be getting the same deal. Sorry for the TLDR, I just felt I needed to get all that off my chest for some reason. /Rant
Depending on the size of the tattoo and locations.
Starting at 5% of Diablos earnings (Diablo IV and future diablo titles) each month to my bankaccount - small tattoo, can be on neck (front, back, sides, does not matter) for the remainder of each gameâs lifetime.
Then at 7% earnings each month to my bankaccount - small tattoo on the face.
9% for small tattooes on neck and face (is the tattoo in or on?)
15% I will do a full-scale diablo themed tattoo in/on the face and neck.
35% I will add company name and logo.
I do NOT work as a perpetual, wandering, live advertisement for cheap money.
The kind of money I would get from above percentages is enough to have me live fairly well and not be bothered by the consequences of such foolish tattooes., considering the diablo earnings.
