Blizzard gives the alliance high elves. Are you negatively affected?

I think they wanted to save high elves just in case.

I have no opinion on people who want high elves in the game.

Yep, keeping them reserved for the Alliance so they could become playable.

There is a spoiler of a possible time-skip after Shadowlands, so maybe after Shadowlands?

Hah. No it wouldn’t. It would, if anything, demoralize the Alliance because we’d be giving up yet another chance at a cool Allied Race in favor of a lame reskin of another existing race. I’d much rather see Sethrak, and they barely make any sense for the Alliance.

Not to mention, the High Elf mount would most likely be yet another horse, just what the Alliance needs to “boost” morale.

For some reason I don’t even play the AR I made I got my Zandalari to 120 only to sit there untouched ever since it hit max my Dark iron is sitting at lvl 73 I think (might because I don’t like Shamans I should make a new one as a dif class.) and my Mag’har Has been 111 for a looooooooooong time now don’t remember the last time I touched it. I have Vulpera unlocked due to already being exalted long before they came out but haven’t done anything with them either

Might also have to do with the fact that I already have every class (except Warrior) which is 103 atm. Max lvl

So every character from here on out I make will be dupe of a class I already have max lvl.

What official proof is there that adding High Elves will cause people to lose hope for the Alliance?

(Commentary): Sure, because another, “Cool,” race such as Kul Tirans, Mechagnomes, Void Elves, or Lightforged Draenei, is exactly what the Alliance needs, over something it’s actually been requesting for years.

(Observation): I always see people say there is a better race to add than High Elves, but they’re never able to say what it is, just that this mythical, “Better,” race exists.

Double traitor blood elves are not high elves. It is about denying the alliance their fun it’s why the antis fall all over themselves to excuse non color shifted night elves on the horde and why that’s fine. Yet the alliance having high elves isn’t.

What proof is there that adding them would cause any gain in hope for the Alliance?

I literally just gave an example. Get your optical sensors adjusted.

(Commentary): Even Blizzard themselves have acknowledged on several occasions that High Elves are perhaps the most requested Allied Race. Getting a request fulfilled would be a win.

(Observation): You also pointed out Sethrak make no sense, and thus don’t work as an Alliance Allied Race. May as well ask for Titans to be a playable race.

And where have I said that they would cause any gain for the Alliance?

I asked you a question in regards to your own words. You’re specific words:

So, please, where is the real proof to say adding High Elves to the Alliance will cause people to lose hope in the Alliance?

You play a dwarf. What other race do you need?

Wild hammer probably

Not for those of us who are already sick of elves. Jinyu/Ankoan would be a better addition than more elves. And they make a pretty good amount of sense too.

I said they don’t make much sense. Again, get those sensors checked out.

I usually have major alti-itis, I mean I guess I still do, I’ve just struggled to level things lately.

People who want High Elves don’t want a ‘cool’ race as you’re thinking of them. Weird snake people, foxes, mayan trolls, etc - these are niche. They want the fantasy equivalent of chocolate ice cream. Classic. Pretty. Kind of anime.

(Commentary): They’d probably be as popular as Mechagnomes and Kul Tirans. The Alliance doesn’t need another unpopular, unplayed Allied Race.

I’m a bit disappointed that they’re just a customization option. I was hoping kinda hoping for Wildhammer Druids.

Wildhammer druids would be pretty awesome.
