After all complains of yesterday they solved the problem.
Now we can drive the character in the air to change direction.
I did it at second try, after noticed the change.
Infortunely they fixed it too late, the wq is about to desappear in few hours and probably majority of the players already gave up of it.

Yeah I was thinking of making a PSA as well.
Its really easy now.
Watching the rage in general chat was fun.
The quest took me like 20 minutes, and probably thirty or so attempts.
Watching a hundred people in one area fail over and over again was really something though.

I managed to do it before the hotfix.

You know after all the complaints I heard about this quest, I was actually surprised how easy it was. I most have done it after the fix but I did notice some rude emotes after I completed it on my first try.

Usually I’m not one to buy into complaints about a WQ being too hard. Then I did it.
I don’t think I’ve ever been more infuriated over anything in WoW. The lack of control was baffling. Do the same thing with different results.
Having mid-air control will help a ton.

Congratulations you can’t stand a challenge. This is why the game is getting worse. People whine about simple platforming mechanics and this is what we get dumbed down WoW again. Only took a day and didn’t give people time to figure out they are just bad at the game.

Its not about learning mechanics. There were bugs with the wq. I have 140 fps with 23ms latency and I was still falling through the jelly and then bouncing when I made contact with the ground, but with the altitude loss you couldn’t make it to the next jelly.
Second the amount of distance you had changed radically between each attempt meaning you couldn’t build muscle memory.
Finally a lot of people didn’t know you only had to make it to the first large jelly, then 180 yourself. The inclusion of a crap ton of jellies going up farther and around in a circle meant a lot of lost attempts that were actually good attempts (I think I had 7 attempts were I made it to the third large jelly.) You shouldn’t need to look up a guide or video to find out how to do things like this.

I guess I did after they fixed it since I could move, did it on my second try and here I thought, what was with all the complaining it was easy.
Look at the posts they spend more time whining on the forums instead of playing the game. They have more read time on the forums than played time on the character.
You are an elite If you beat that WQ yesterday. Truly shows off the best skills a player needs for wow prowess.

I did this quest yesterday at approx 8 pm EST and after hearing all the complaints about it, I was expecting a horrible experience I would rage quit on after 5 minutes. I got it on my second try.
I felt really good about myself, but now I wonder if I got the nerfed version…

If you could change the direction you were jumping mid jump then you had the nerfed version. If you couldn’t then it was the prenerf.
I feel bad that I gave up on it yesterday, but after an hour I just couldn’t find any pattern/consistency to the bounces. It felt like repeating identical actions I’d get wildly different results between attempts. I’m curious how much of it was hyper-sensitivity to latency (I noticed I’d sometimes bounce after hitting the ground).

I know you a troll, but sometimes i could sorta control my toon sometimes i could not…sometimes i would go thru the jelly and sometimes i would be about a character length away and jump up…and i was 100fps and world and home ms was around 45

It’s not trolling if a majority got it done but the whiners didn’t it’s because they did it wrong and whine instead of trying again.

It took a few tries but I was able to get the hang of it pretty quick once I realized I had some control while I was in the air. I did it later on in the evening so I guess I did it after the fix. I did later see people in guild chat having difficulty with it.
