I’ve been leveling characters recently every now and then I check how they are in PVP at that current bracket and I had some hunter on our team and he had a transmog that made him look like a level 70. Now I check his gear and I was wrong he’s just a level 70. He proceeds to completely stomp every other player and is instantly killing the entire enemy team while I just watch doing nothing, unable to do anything because literally everyone is dead instantly (30-39 bracket). Then a few days later a healer and warrior queue on the other team and proceed to camp our whole team with just the 2 of them (60-69 bracket).
You stop twinks by making BG’s give XP (exploit/bug not withstanding which has been around since SL btw) but them immediately make it so a level 70 can queue with lower levels. If you actually knew how to scale then maybe you could make it fair but clearly you don’t and they’re legitimately ruining every single game of PVP they enter, regardless of the team they join. I don’t enjoy entering a BG and having 2 level 70’s camp the enemy team, nor do I enjoy entering a BG and getting camped by 2 level 70’s.
It’s not working as intended. Since this expansion dropped and the new trees came in Blizzard has been so incompetent with PVP and Party Sync that it’s a complete joke. So yeah PS has been around but it’s nothing near what it was in SL etc.
They are more interested in PVE, no PVP dev team nothing.
Just because you see yourself as some savior at low levels does not mean it’s working anywhere near as intended. It should be ceased (like they did with mythic) until they get the finger out and fix it.
In all honesty who cares, lol. Blizzard doesn’t care because, let’s face it, anything below max level doesn’t count in their eyes, and I agree. Why does anyone care if you’re level 56 and you’re facing 70s in bgs. Level to max and it’s a non issue.
This was a level 60 bg mind you. The fellow on the left is a hunter on my team, and the focus frame on the right is a hunter on the other team. The average player in this match had about 50k hp.
I get Blizzard doesn’t care about low levels. However, if you do nothing at a low level very little new talent will find their way to the top. PVP needs a complete overhaul all the way up.
If the game is crap for the leveling PVP player they give up and jump over to PVE and very rarely come back. Why would they? They are not learning anything getting obliterated by the 70s etc.
Your response is like so many others in here about lower-level PVP, you can’t see how it’s destroying what little audience is left for PVP in WOW, and believe me, it affects the high-end queues as well, because of fewer players participating.
I dont think most people are aware as the synch works.
Everytime i used it i was just between weak to ok. My enchants werent activated nor i had access to anything i have aside what the level bracket allowed.
My gear was ok, but compared to twinks? super trash they would 1 shot me, just like my twink was 1 shoting every living thing in its brackets. a level 30 with a level 50 amount of int due gems plus enchants and trinkets lol
I am pretty sure the one obliterating you is a twink not a 70 which is scaled down as wearing blues of that level bracket.
A twink with 22 gem slots for int/agi/strenght is just always going to be much mroe stronger than any high level scaled down, in fact it will 1 shot the high level sometimes with enchant procs alone lol.
Last year i was joking aroudn with a fury warrior twink, double crusader enchant, i would whiirlwind and get full HP plus massive damage bonus it was just too ez to 2 shot everyone.
Nah. It’s always the PVP geared 70’s. Twinks are occasionally managle. Very strong true, but level 70’s in PVP gear? They’re on a whole other level. Doesn’t even need to be the conquest gear either. Just get the basic blue honor gear and you will beat everyone who isn’t a level 70 in a BG. So many of them don’t even xmog their gear so I just see the guys running around in that ugly looking 70 honor gear (not a fan of that stuff).
The last bg I was in before hitting 70, I semi twinked. By that I mean I just bought 316 gear and found a few lucky pieces of gear from PVP crates. I had 200k HP. Twinks had 230k HP. Meanwhile there warrior who was a level 70 was rocking 260k. He also had a level 70 healer with him with like 240k HP both of them could take on the entire team. Thank God it was my last game before 70.
The main issue is that low level PVP is often the first experience someone has in PVP. They queue for a bg and hope fumble around not really knowing what to do. Now Blizzard has sort of removed twinks from the game with bg’s giving XP so at least they will outlevel a BG, but a level 70 will never outlevel any bracket and can continually queue with stronger gear than any twink can manage.
syncd 70’s aren’t stronger than a twink.

a syncd 70 in 61-69 should be the same ilevel as boas at 67/68 which is higher than a 61 with the 5 crafted blue pieces. a 68 with better gear than a 61!!? oh no call the cops!!

Not occasionally, ALWAYS TRAINWRECKING my twink mage could 1 shot everyone and the warrior was just a melee god lol. Never had any issue against 70s and their blue level gear.
So basically he had more HP than a 70 would with the blue pvp gear unnactivated in the world? its less than 250k

A 70 ins 60s bracket is scaled to 67 gear.
True, it is also truth that they will give up regardless at level 20 because of its twinks and keep getting 1 shot by twinks in tbc/mop gear and 22 gems slots on the above brackets.
Whole low level pvp should just be scaled and enchants etc be disabled that much is true but its also truth you guys do not know how to tell what is a twink and what is a 70 if you truly believes they are somewhat close to be remotely comparable.
the level 30-40 twink does at least 200% more damage.
I’m not going to bother going over it again and again why it’s not working as intended. If so why are Blizz not making a statement to that fact? It’s an absolute mess and people are fed up and leaving PVP at all levels of the game.
And in anticipation of a rebuttal from you. If it is working as intended then they don’t know what they are doing with PVP and bringing new players into PVP.
This isnt true for the 30-39 bracket specifically. The ease of twinking in that bracket with just buying gear with tokens at 30 and 35. Then scooping some sl gems off the ah. So marks of honor (if u pvp at cap alot u should have plenty) and about 200g and your done. Stats will be better than a lvl 70 after sync.
