Seasonal content needs to be designed so people can make it to the end of the seasonal track within a common sense time period.
If the majority of the player base who’s doing it is now going to be struggling to hit the end of the reward track because of difficulty and how long of a grind it is. It’s not fun.
Look at how Diablo 4 now handles this. Pretty much everyone is able to hit the end of the rewards track. (THAT IS WHAT FUN IS)
I’ll say this again. THAT IS WHAT FUN IS
If a smaller. SMALLER group of players hits the end of the rewards track in a few days? Nobody cares. We all DO NOT CARE.
If they come here to the forums and say “it’s too easy and now there’s nothing to do”
We DO NOT CARE
What the majority of the player base DOES care about however is fun.
There’s plenty of other games out there where I can engage In the seasonal content and have lots of fun in.
This ain’t it. You guys are messing up big time on delves. Making group delves scale up even harder was NOT the answer. You should have made solo delves easier. You also need to buff brann BIGTIME so healers can do delves.
It will only get easier as gear improves. There will inevitably be more tuning as well.
You also need to put the difficulty in perspective. Tier 8 delves give 616 (to 619) loot in the vault. Heroic raid slots give 610 (to 626). People really shouldn’t be upset that they can’t faceroll the former in ~580 gear the first week they’re available.
Blizz has definitely completely broken delves. Everybody seems to agree on that. But that was only due to the recent expose that proved that grouping up in delves made them objectively easier than doing them solo. So I just stopped doing delves. If they get around to fixing it, I might go back. I got currency to grind in the meantime. Stupid Siesbarg mount
I love how gaslighters use this word. Yes I’m calling you a gaslighter. It switches around the argument completely as if I’m asking for free stuff.
Know what I am entitled too? My money and not subbing. Guess what else. Im not alone. I can promise you that my views represent the majority. The casuals who are paying to play. Not the elitist class.
If we aren’t having fun we won’t sub. It’s as simple as that.
Go ahead and say “cya later”.
I love it when people say this too on mmorpg forums. The next thing we see happpening are articles about population decline in said game.
Then the next thing that happens is head scratching. “Where’d all the players go!?!”
Ok well go play it then, its day 2 and you havent cleared it… so whats the problem here exactly? And no you are still not entitled to clear everything in the game.
Companies, including this one, design seasons to take a very long time to finish. They want us playing every day, working towards that long term goal. The more we play, the more we see other monetary offers/microtransactions. But if you don’t have the time, or simply don’t want to put in the time, they offer a skip/boost to help out your progress.
Companies want you to give them money, they do not care about ‘fun’.
