Nah. Its just about Sylvanas.
Are you telling me that the Horde’s ONLY quest on Argus, Feazel the Muffin Thief, isn’t canon? ![]()
Not anymore. Not after Horde players concerned with the pre-BfA datamined story already bought the expansion.
I’m sure they did. But Horde has done plenty since then to give him a bad impression.
Let’s completely forget about that one or. That literally saved the world from death wing because that would be too inconvenient for your point.
i mean au =/= mu. We know the reason that KJil’jaeden found it easy to manipulate the orcs was because his mere presence stirred the elements into an unintelligible frenzy and he pretended to be the spirits.
Farondis is basically the best night elf who has ever lived, or will have ever lived.
it’s because the preset default sto being fully armored and i was too lazy to fix it.
somewhere in your profile’s options.
“Employees”, that’s cute.
The Draenei bring their world destroying enemy to a primitive world so their their enemy can deceive and then enclave the race that and destroy their worlds. And that makes that race the same as the Legion? I think not.
True Velen had a moral obligation to warn the native inhabitants, to do everything he could to warn them of the potential fel corruption.
He messed up, hard. Velen could’ve done so much more to help the orcs, hell he could’ve forged a pact with at least a few of the orc clans.
That however, doesnt absolve the orcs of guilt for the 2.5 genocides, the rape camps, the sackings, the sacrifices, the roads, etc.
We irl trial ppl for accidents that killed someone else. Unwittingly or not, sometimes things are done that can never be taken back
Are you kidding? Given what Fel blood does, you would never get a conviction. Nor do we put people on trial for something that someone else does. You have an entire generation of Orcs who were never part of the Legion’s Horde and you have a mess of other races who weren’t.
Yet Blizzard blithely equals the Legion with the Horde, making the villian bat all too clear.
Maybe by telling them they will seek that very same power?
Ignorance is bliss. How many times has telling a child not to touch something actually work?
Sargeras seduced 2 of the 3 leaders of the Eredar. What makes you think warning the Orcs that live in mud houses would make them be on guard of Legion rather than chase after them?
The orcs only drank the blood at the end to bring the hammer down on the draenei, they were killing women and children far before that.
If im tricked into killing and then willingly kill 5 ppl and then down some acid and accidentally kill the last one then im still going to jail.
And im not talking about the horde of bfa. I was very clearly talking of the horde that smacked the dreanei around (some of whom are still alive, but thats irrelevant here).
Embrace the comparison. It’s time for demons to join the Horde.
Comparing the Orcs to the Burning Legion is akin to comparing the Forsaken to the Scourge (with some differences).
Orcs were forced (some willingly) to drink the blood of Mannoroth, corrupting them into an insatiable bloodlust. Those who refused were killed or hunted down for sport. They lost all their faculties and succumbed to the pit lord’s corruption.
The Forsaken, when they were among the ranks of the scourge, were almost entirely unwilling servants of the LK.
You have two races that were enslaved and forced to commit atrocities against their will and are haunted by it to this day.
Orcs =/= Legion, just as the Forsaken =/= Scourge.
Orcs had been killing Draenei before being “enslaved”.
Forsaken turn people into undead immediatly after killing them.
Hm… everything since Cata to to BFA seems like they are fully onboard.
Actually, the Orcs were originally created by the Titans specifically to counter the Botani. Teldrassil is simply the logical conclusion of their original mission: Orcs vs. nature.
I can’t be the only player who wanted to end his smug existence.
And I did.
He chose his fate. His death lead to Rastakahn’s. His ramblings mean little to me.
He called the Horde “the Legion!”… boo hoo. I am rubber and he is… dead.
All orcs? Or just some orcs?
Because if we are judging all orcs by one standard, then it is only fair we do that for other races, as well. For example, the Dranei are just the tiny minority of Eredar who didn’t gleefully join up with Sargeras.
Yes, they were deceived by magics they had no way of penetrating, had their leadership killed and corrupted, and then were fully enslaved by the blood of Manaroth. All because of the same Draenei that Blizzard has comping them (and numbers Orcs and races who were never part of the First Horde) to the Legion.
Pretty much all orcs joined the Horde…
Its pretty funny seeing all these blood elves making so many excuses for the Orcs.
They would have us believe they are the real victims here.
Thats fair.
Keep in mind however, every time we meet red draenei in wow they are or will be turned into loot piñatas without a second thought from us.
Maybe some of them didn’t exactly know what they were getting into at the beggining and/or were simply forced into that role by peer preasure and then it was too late to turn back… like Durotan was when he helped the horde raze that one draenei city that was hidden by an illusion.
And yet we killed them all the same ![]()
How are the Forsaken not haunted by it? They flocked to their human families in fairly large numbers when given the opportunity in BtS, looking for solace and some semblance of their previous lives. One of Sylvanas’ previous voice prompts literally said, “What are we if not slaves to this torment?”.
I don’t know man, sounds to me that many of them don’t exactly revel being the unwitting cause of the wholesale slaughtering of their neighbors.
