Blizzard don't you dare kill Lor'themar

Banishes the Void experts from Silvermoon.

Makes it clear they don’t want void experts in Silvermoon.

“Where are our void experts?”

Blood Elves. Lol.

The Void Elves weren’t even experts at that point and Alleria posed a threat to the well. Alleria is why Xal is even back there.

Also the Zandalari Empire, one of the only two societies to combine arcane and shadow (the second being the ancient Apexis Empire of the Arakkoa) and the AU Shadowmoon Clan.

As a velf main, I would love this. Though it would be kind of ironic for the blood elves to treat the void elves like poop. They cast us out because they were (justifiably) concerned about the dangers of void exploration. But now that some rando void entity has corrupted the Sunwell, they’re going to need us to help figure it all out.

As a person who plays a Troll Mage along with an Orc Shaman, this makes me annoyed, i dont see the whole point in this are they dumb because they cant read a certain language or is it something else? On that note why is it alway people going into old troll ruins to loot the power artifacts from them if theyre so “stupid” why do they always try to take esoteric knowledge from them?

There’s also their survival over the centuries, but they are really dumb for some reason. It just feels like hatred.

Yes, an Empire thats been there for God knows how long before the night elves walked the shores of the Well of Eternity, before the Tribes of man became whatever pointless kingdom even before the opening of the Dark Portal, the very Empire that fought tooth & nail against the Aqir(even if it was a mistake on belief of it being a loa) are the ones are dumb, i would be more interested in how they did it & what knowledge that they can offer whole reason why i adore the Horde even with all its flaws.

There really needs to be an interview with Blizz on their approach with the Horde. Because it doesn’t even seem like they are aware of the damage they’ve done to the faction.

Oh I’m sure they are aware, they just don’t care.

It’s possible. But I’d still like for it to come up in interviews. It rarely does.

Even if it did, it would be some coy response with a smirk and laugh.

No you won’t

Probably. Wouldn’t doubt that at all.

It does feel that Blizzards current thoughts on the overall Horde appeal is “don’t think about it”. They’ve ridden the line of Thralls New Horde and the Dark Horde trying to appeal to both, until ultimately deciding to forget about it. They need to lock in one singular idea of what the Horde is rather than try and pull them in various conflicting directions.

The same applies to the Alliance certainly, but they have a far more unified ideal that the Horde needs serious work on.

And the Alliance ideal: We’re the good guys.

I’d like the Horde to lean more into “We’re a family.” Throw in stories that focus on us looking out for each other while staving off threats from outside.

If they were confused about which Horde, it should have stayed with Thrall’s version. It’s what they decided on since WC III, it’s the Horde that many joined. They could have always just kept Garrosh around and had him form his own group, constantly troll Thrall and people could earn rep with them.

But how drastically they’ve changed the Horde now from when we’ve joined creates this disconnect that shouldn’t exist in an RPG.

Which then creates a disconnect between those that were sold on Thralls New Horde, those whom want the edge and appeal of the Dark Horde. You can’t have both when the ideals are in conflict with the other.

I personally would’ve wanted to see Blizzard expand on the New Horde more than retreading what was already finished in WC3.

:scream_cat: I can’t be the only Blood Elf player who couldn’t pass Lorthemar without a hug and kiss.

They didn’t do the Garrosh thing until MoP, so not sure how there is a disconnect there in the same way.

That new Horde that Garrosh was wanting to create was just going back to the old Orcish Horde that existed during the RTS games. And there was no way that was ever gonna last because realistically they’d have to kick everyone out of the Horde that isn’t an Orc.
