It’s really not though.
Delves are an additional piece of content to give antisocial weirdos a chance at the great vault, and to give the rest of us a place to snag some easy gear to begin our ilvl march toward high keys and raid.
I support delves being in the game even if think they’re pretty boring.
I do not support “solo” players having a gearing path anywhere near the ilvl rewards of traditional gameplay.

This is why solo content is bad game design. The moment they start balancing the game and classes around solo play is the moment I stop playing WoW.
They wanted mythic raid gear for playing flappy birds in Bastion.
This has never been about “solo” players wanting a challenge. Ever. Not for a single second.
Yeah it’s pretty much a definitive proof that the “I just like to solo” people were just lazy and wanted free loot with no effort all along. Which pretty much anyone with a brain already knew. But Blizzard took a long time figuring out.

That’s not what I wanted.
I wanted prog content for Alts, when I want play solo or when no one is online and that’s Delves.
Literally no one asked for this.
Can’t take you people seriously when you pull this nonsense. Goodbye.

I soloed an 8 as a 573 prot war and got a 603 from the chest. You sure about that 600 number?
Who says? Time rifts, Dreamsurges, Suffusion camp? As someone mentioned above Legion invasions, assaults, etc. Guess it all depends on what you consider a challenge, I guess. Some things I might consider to be a challenge you could probably brush off as to easy easy, vice versa. Those were not the best progression pillars true, but you could still progress the characters you play through those.
None of that is progression challenge. How would plan on making that like M+ with different tiers and keys?
That’s exactly what they wanted. They couched it in things like “I just want to be equal to everyone else and respect my time!!!” But then they kept changing the goal post unless it was mythic raid level gear. Give them something and they just whine for more. The lazy people who want free loot for crying have always existed, and so have their bad faith arguments.
No one cares.
I’ve read for years intellectually dishonest posts by bad players who call themselves casuals while playing this game farming trivial content more hours in a week than I work a full time job crying and saying that their “time” and “effort” should yield the same results as those of us who grind out endgame content and work our way to the top.
It’s annoying, and frankly I’m tired of reading it. Do delves and get your gear. Delves are literally only “don’t stand in this MASSIVE PURPLE CIRCLE” occasionally.
They’re ridiculously easy compared to the gear level they reward, and people are actually here upset about their “difficulty.”
No. It isn’t. Only trolls on this forum used “I want Mythic raid gear mailed to me” as a way to incite the fury of others. Good job falling for it.
The rest of the casuals and open world players just wanted more progression with higher difficulties like M+. Stuff we earned. Not handed to us.
How do I know? I started some of those constructive feedback threads and have been part of research polls for Blizz about it.

Why exactly does it have to be mythic, or mythic+ challenging? Have my doubts that even half the players that ask for more open world content solo, whatever want that kind of difficulty. If there numbers to prove that, then I’ll just move along.
Why shouldn’t it be? Why do us casuals and open world players and people who like to solo get treated as inferior? What do you care if we get challenging content? It doesn’t matter to you or what you do. We’re not walking into your Mythic raids and high keys. Our Heroic gear we can earn doesn’t affect you.
Why shouldn’t we get a challenge and our own progression?
It starts at story mode tiers and works its way up. People have choices for their ceiling.

I do none of the content you just mentioned. I’m probably more casual than you. Last time I ever remember running a mythic dungeon was back in Legion, maybe one in BFA. I don’t care for it. I haven’t been into progression raiding since TBC, and Wolk days, and did very little in TBC at that.
how do you balance solo content for like 37 specs?
You lost me at “the poors”, dude

Okay, then why care if there’s tiered challenge content? It starts on easy mode and goes up.

I wasn’t the one that wanted or wants delves removed. If that’s your thing great. And don’t care if it’s easy mode or not. I get enough challenge in real life, I don’t have to have it in a videogame. I guess some people do though. And don’t need the best pixelated gear either. That is why the open world content we had in DF, Legion, etc was just fine, and eventually my characters felt like they were getting stronger as the expansion went along.

Delves have transformed into a waste of time in my mind overnight because of the group thing. I always knew you could do them in groups, but now I don’t even wanna bother.
It makes zero sense to group for them instead of just doing M0.
