None of the models are correct each one has some sort of rigging issue.
The blood elf idle animation must be some sort of California crap. I have never stood like that in my life and every other woman I know sure doesn’t either.
Night elves need the most work both males and females the sheer fact the company just refuses to fix these is appalling yet the CEO is getting a 100 Million bonus

I could go on but this issue has been bought up so many times and they still ignore it.
The problem with the human models mostly has to do with the fact that they are the ONLY humans in the game and that WE are humans. If you get the likeness off, it ruins it quickly. WoW isn’t even remotely close to the uncanny valley, but their likeness is terribly off for humans. For every other race, it’s not an issue because they aren’t real. You’ve never seen an orc in real life. You’ve never seen a dwarf, etc etc. They can look like whatever they want.
That being said, when it comes to character design, you have to look at silhouette and readability. WoW is a stylized game and is very known for having goofy caricature-like proportions on things. Things like everyone having size 20US male feet and hands the size of Shaq’s. If you were to render them with realistic proportions, you’d lose a lot of information and readability. You might run into aliasing issues on lower end hardware if a finger is only comprised of 10 pixels at a distance.
There are a lot of aspects that factor into why they design them they way they do, but regardless of that, I pretty much refuse to play a human male because they are so terribly goofy looking. It’s like they were modeled after Gaston, except he had a run-in with the village people at the YMCA.
This sure is a lot of words just to say “I sexually objectify women and want the in-game models to look like pornstars. Oh yeah, there’s also this other game coming out that no one is actually interested in.”

No but I like my female human models and want Blizzard to reenact their appearance just as Blizzard has perfectly done for every other race
The new model does look like a 40 year old boy who hasnt hit puberty. The cringe level is over 9000

Except for humans.
He was never talking about changing their chest size. He was talking about changing their face.
Yet ironically the female and male humans have ONE look to them in classic. The female human resembles this woman 90% more in the pic below than say Victoria Beckham aka Posh who resembles a Blood Elf. This isnt shadowlands where ethnicity is added.

You want them to have better… faces? Not bust??? Puzzling…
Some people like the “boyish” look, some don’t. They should give us options to have more feminine and more masculine looks for ALL RACES. Seriously, compare female draenei to male draenei. The Sylvar have got it right.
But the boyish look is NOT how they ORIGINALLY LOOKED.

Men don’t always have to be super all tough, gruff, and buff… just like women don’t have to be like “oooh look at my perfect face! I wear extra makeup so that makes me look more attractive!”

The men look derpy like Brendan Fraser and the women look like Milla Jovovich. They look Nothing like how their old faces look. They look worse.
No the original female human models in classic dont use make up. They dont need it. Bringing up make up isnt an excuse to prevent an accurate feminine look of their face. And they dont have the perfect model looking faces.
