No. What probably happened is while all the Devs were changing their alliance underwear in the back, some dude ran up on stage and played his song about horde are awesome and alliance players should off themselves.
Then, two Blizz Devs dressed as SW guards escorted that person off the stage while the remaining Devs said horde players are f______ idiots.
The thing is, I don’t think it would ever end. I said earlier, if I was Blizzard I’d never give Helves as a playable race, but I’d never kill the hope that they could be a playable race.
What ever decision they make is going to boil one side’s blood. At least this way, the sides are just yelling at each other for the most part.
Not gonna argue about whether or not it’s proof of Horde bias on Blizzard’s part.
But I will say that even a decade later it’s still probably the stupidest thing Blizzard ever did.
Yeah, how dare we look at the past behavior of Blizz Devs to explain the present and likely future behavior of their horde favoritism and hate for alliance.

They switched things up after I learned about it. When I first heard about these, the 5 year sword was an Alliance Footman’s sword. Later they started doing a different sword every year.

When have people been punished for playing horde? The 20% troll racial? Berzerking? 5% damage to beasts in ToT? By Blizz Devs playing horde?
Alliance just want Blizz Devs to treat each faction fairly. I bring up Blizz’s past to shed light on why some people think Blizz favors horde…because they have and they do. The best indicator of future behavior is past behavior.

I just like them as a nice counterpoint to trying to pretend that a fantasy take on Remington’s “The Bronco Buster” as proof of inherent bias. They literally arm their employees with Alliance equipment. (I mean, that probably has more to do with that working better as a wall hanger than a horde shield)

No they can’t. Blood Elves where never cured of their Addiction they simply got an unlimited source.
They are still actively looking for a cure as well.
Warriors and Farstriders are an exception and even they got green eyes from the rampant use of fell. And that just means they are less likely to be purified by the Sunwell because they would use it less.
