Blizzard banned 270k accounts

Most bot accounts pay nothing in a monthly sub or less then 3 dollars a month.

Yeah they’re lying out the a**. WSG hackers still flooded with hackers. though if you say a naughty word they’ll ban your account.

The redundancy is out of this world. 5million reaction videos to a dozen originals lol.

Here is what you stated word for word:
“If they were 270,000 accounts created with stolen credit cards and Blizzard had to give the 4 million dollars back, they’d be pissed enough to do it…”

Now if your reading skills are up to snuff, you’d see nowhere did I quote anything your stated and your statement, was at best, vague.

they didnt get rid of the money because the bot subs are already paid and guess what? they will resub lol.

At least it would have made sense if Blizzard made subscription money from them, if that’s not the case I don’t get it all.
A team of 5 people could cut down bots considerably, you mean to tel me Microsoft Blizzard can’t afford to pay the salary of 5 people to protect the integrity of their product? Give me a break

Don’t worry everyone I wasn’t 1 of the accounts, I’m still here doing gdkps.

Get rid of game time cards. Tie all accounts to a credit card (no prepaid/gift cards). If one account linked to a card is banned, every account linked to it is banned.

Was waiting for party members outside SFK yesterday and the number of level 16-17 rogues flooding in and out was unreal.

And this is on Chaos Bolt, a medium pop server that’s a total ghost town at night.

Can’t imagine how bad it must be on Crusader Strike.

I wouldn’t trust their numbers if they showed them, they’re huge liars @ blizzard.

You clearly missed the entire blue post that you repeated back to me “the quote I provided”.

I provided a quote from a Blue employee. You repeated to me, a paraphrasing of what that quote said.

No-where did I (since your reading skills aren’t up to snuff) say that you quoted me.

Oh I see, you wanted to read through yet another forum post for information and such? Naaa… not happening.

That right there says I quoted you.

I get it, forums and reading/comprehension are difficult. Keep trying, you’ll get it eventually get it.

“the quote I provided”.

I quoted someone. You repeated back to me, what was in the quote. I did not say you quoted me anywhere.

I know English is a second language for many people, but you’re arguing semantics, so you really should know what you’re saying.

I’m glad we 100% agree on the topic and all, but it’s a bit silly of you to argue this point.

Now that Silverpine on one server is cleared, maybe move to the next areas on each server??

Bot accounts stopped paying real money for their subscription the moment the WoW Token was added to the game.

But people will harp on about how much the WoW Token stopped the bots (it never did).

But they keep the money. The fact is they get more money this way because bots will just rebuy a new subscription with a new account. The most profitable way for Blizzard to go about it is to ban them infrequently enough to remain profitable, but still ban them. Blizzard would make less money by not banning them.

Yep thanks to the gdkp clowns. Its going to keep happening since theres 100% no other reason to buy that much gold. will pretend they dont want their time wasted, yet they could always run with a guild or friends, you know like the raids were meant to be played lmao.

No, what is that?

Good reference post. It does seem daunting to keep banning bots, but the problem is that they clearly aren’t punishing harshly enough for buying gold either.

A streamer posted a video where he just lost the items he bought with the bought gold. If that’s the worst people are going to get or it is the perceived worst punishment, people are going to buy gold because the punishment is the chance you’ll lose items you bought with gold and just be out a few dollars vs buying powerful gear and keeping it.

they are required to pay real money for the first month now. Thats 4 million new dollars. They don’t just say “they got me I give up now”. They start over 100% of the time.
