“We understand Killing Spree is still broken so we made it a core part of your Hero Talent that no one uses.”
Handling rogues as Blizzard is how they handled pitching a mobile phone game to a PC convention.
What are the main challenges with killing spree?
Killing Spree has a nasty habit of being blocked if you teleport in front of a Boss, Elite, or Rare mob; missing if the mob your attacking teleports or shifts radically; and in some instances, Killing Spree just won’t react at all.
Another nasty thing Killing Spree has is how it sponges damage from teleporting into puddles on the ground. Unlike normally walking into a puddle and taking some damage, Killing Spree tends to double/triple dip and collectively holds it until the animation finishes, which then starts ticking damage down for eight seconds.
Now, I can’t confirm or deny this bug exists, but Killing Spree might even intercept certain mechanics bosses might throw out if teleporting at just the right moment.
And then there’s the problem with Killing Spree clipping through map geometry.
Don’t forget the random disconnects. And the fact it dead stops in cleave if primary target dies.
