The worst part about his statement is that he suggest people are confused but has no inclination to clear up the confusion.
Stuff like that is just absolutely mindboggling.
The only way I can see tokens putting a dent into RMT is for it to sell for a lot more then it’s currently selling. Anything under 10k is just going to force people to continue to buy gold. You then have those that dont want to risk getting banned spending even more money to complete with others in GDKPs.
It’s still RMT even when Blizzard “sells” the gold.
The comments on the reddit thread about that vid are comedy gold.

I guess from Blizzard’s point of view, people aren’t buying gametime cause they can use gold, but at the end of the day SOMEONE is paying a premium for that game time anyway, so they always make a sale.
