They injected at least 100 mmr for everyone, but this line reads as you gaining more mmr or cr per win than prior:

Does it seem like they are intentionally kneecapping arena brackets early on so people don’t get to a higher rating very quick? And then about halfway through the season they inject mmr to make things more of a controlled progression? As in, they don’t want people getting rewards too early on as I assume participation falls off if that happens? But then that raises the question of blitz so i dont really know anymore

NM misread this as +1000mmr. Goodwill Duelist Galaxyballs doesn’t have the same ring to it, but back to my dungeon of mediocrity I willingly go.

Under these circumstances I can allow for up to one day grace period for his delayed ball heat frenzy to manifest itself on wow forums.

I think either way, its still an incredibly difficult achievment and feat of strength.
I believe that PvP is at an all time competitive level. It takes a lot of hard work and effort to climb, even with increased rating gains and MMR boosts to help. The game relies heavily on coordinated cooldown trading as well as crowd control trading in games above 1600.
I just want to at least get there some day. I have come so close before, but have never passed duelist. I know my biggest flaw is not being able to review my own gameplay, since I dont record any gameplay, otherwise I would. Maybe some day when I have a better gaming setup that can handle it, I will.
Im just glad that the developers are being responsive and making changes to the game for PvP players. It seems like they’re trying to keep it alive, and I can tell they’re doing a good job.
