Uh… no, you’re the customer, you’re paying for the product. Shareholders are not customers, technically, Shareholders don’t even give money to Blizzard outside of the initial stock offering.
That doesn’t make you necessarily right. They needed to design for the masses, not just you in particular.
Yeah, I think people get caught up in it being a game. It’s a product that happens to be a game.
FYI. The main purpose of Forums isn’t only for just plain old criticism. It’s also just a place for people to talk about WoW. But yes, in the end, people discuss issues like, for instance, Covenants more than their favorite flavor of ice cream.
Why they’re ignoring us in regards to “pulling the ripcord?” Well, they’re married to the idea of a meaningful choice, and think they can make it work.
Blizzard can listen to everyone’s input.
But I greatly hope they listen more intently from the input of people that know what they are doing.
