Blizz you lied

Just fyi, the map doesn’t come from the bountiful chest. I’m not doing any coffer keys and I still get maps regularly.

I didn’t mean to suggest that.

Thank you for clarifying.

PSA for anyone who may not be aware: The Locked Coffer never contains crests.

You will get the exact same amount of crests from doing that Bountiful delve with zero Coffer keys on you and just leaving that chest unopened.

This is not to say that making keys harder to get was a good idea. But once you’re in full Champ gear, there’s nothing in that locked chest that really matters anymore. Valorstones and curios may still have some relevance at this stage I suppose.

It was ridiculously fast to get 720 didnt even know how i got the wraps & i dont think getting keys is too hard, do bountiful get those purple soul thingys do them get shard repeat im pretty sure there are other ways to get that item for worldsoul memory.

Keys are not a long term issue. If you want to look at the whole respect of time its the continual changing of effects in Delves. Ion acknowledges that just starting a new season and buffing the health of mobs isnt fun, but then they not only continue to do it they add effects that slow down the delve.
I think the delve developers need to be given a Mage and end season gear available for solo content and told, go test every T11. They only take 10 minutes dont they … according to half the player base on the forums.

I don’t play mage often, can’t really speak to every spec but for most 10 to 15 mins is pretty standard. Especially now with the Ethereal gate things when they show up it can be 5 mins. I have no complaints about the delves themselves in S3.

Take the weakest classes on the meta list and run them in appropriate tier gear. If the T11 says you can do it in 690, devs should be able to do it on all classes in 690.

If on a Paladin tank it is up to 5 minutes just on a high health end boss. I am similar to the OP on how much I play and was doing 8 x T11 on Paladin, Warrior, Disc Priest, Hunter last season and the only one that was consistently quick was Kriegvals Rest and the Undermine one. The rest are longer than 15 minutes.
The new Ethereal one for Kriegvals Rest was 45-1 hour on first tries of it, and they are not going to be much quicker long term IF you are trying to collect Shriekers for example.
Mage is clearly the worst. I dabble in one doing just a few delves a week for the heroic pieces.

And as a live example. Someone keeps tweaking Tank Brann and has made a complete botch of it. His health dips are in line with a DPS.

I like delves but I hate having to do more than previous seasons for the same amount of keys.

I think its a terrible anti-player change.

Yeah. Feels bad doing stuff, especially cause they nerfed loot from most of the boxes too not just the coffer keys - especially the gold. Makes no sense. Also a note for people that make the claim “Just do the new zone” I can do stuff in the new zone, don’t really get coffer keys. Maybe that’s because it wants you to complete the entire new campaign that was timegated? Not too keen on that, sorry. Ain’t doing all that stuff in a zone I don’t like.

The key change is dumb. I have quit on Delves. M+ is way easier than doing snore-fest world content on alts.

Delve grind got worse? Wouldn’t notice since delves were too boring to grind in the first place.

Well, you NEED an actual group to do that. You can’t solo it at your own pace. So no, you can’t actually spam M+ like you can with a delve. Considering how many posts there are of people complaining about taking hours to get an invite into keys, this is not as meaningless as you think.

And BTW, you ALSO get an inflated Vault slot even if you fail to time a delve. Wow, it’s like it’s the same as failing to time a Mythic. If you complete a delve with no lives left, you still get vault credit. You even get rewards like the Delve bounty regardless.

If you do the events in the new zone you get a full key. PLUS you get an additional half key for the truly truly mindless and simple events that take less than 5 minutes of actual effort.

No, you don’t. Please don’t lie.

Are you sure? Because from my experience, if you fail a delve because you run out of lives but you still finish it, it counts. If I’m wrong I apologise but I’m pretty sure about it.

You get empty chests that’s about it when & if i do run out of lives i just leave & redo the whole damn thing its not really a big deal just a wasted time, i solo all my Delves DH(tank) being the easiest followed by Shaman then my Mage i have to take my time when i do delves as a mage(my lowest ilvl & worst geared) simply because of Brann, group placement & Nemesis groups, i usally wait for certain stories to make it easier like “Funny Candle”

They do take longer but its only for a few weeks, i dont even need the keys anymore

Yes, that is all true. But I was talking about the Vault credit. And like with a Mythic, as long as you FINISH it, regardless of time or lives, you still get Vault credit. Or at least I thought we did …

Oh, im pretty sure it still counts…yeah I’m pretty sure you still get credit if its marked complete im not gonna take the risk tho & see bro. :^) can you check??

Well, yes, I thought so too. I was replying to the guy who said it DIDN’T count.

It’s not that hard to double check. I’ll wander into a delve with a toon and die a half dozen times and if I finish it and it still counts in the vault, we’ll know. It’s not like you lose anything.
