Blizz theres a massive problem with healers that must be fixed

That’s funny… I was tanking last night and the priest never dropped below 90%… in leather and 2 swords. Sounds like a skill issue.

On horde we have endless healers. Always.

It’s finding a tank amongst our literal thousand of “DPS only warriors” that’s the problem.

There will be loads of Warriors re-rolling in about a year when they find out they won’t be top DPS and are about equal with a Bear Druid for tanking. The YOLO stuff doesn’t work in Heroic Shattered Halls on fresh 70s, and it’s going to be overdue. I’m gonna go find those Tigole quotes from '07 to post when the whining starts.

If your group is really handling it and not struggling then you do you. The problem is and always will be DPS derps who don’t really know or care about tanking who are carried by everyone else’s heroic effort to get a dungeon done when it wasn’t necessary - at least they tanked I guess.

People simply don’t like to tank or heal, perhaps it the pressure, or simply that they want to see big numbers and like the DPS role, it really doesn’t matter, dual spec was never going to fix this. Obviously things will get a lot easier as more people have alts, but that doesn’t change the underlying dynamics of finding a healer or a tank which is usually the harder of the two roles to find.

Your best bet for finding a healer, don’t HR things the healer will want. Also if your a tank, keep a list of healers you have grouped with, tank well, keep the right pace so they can drink, make it so they will want to group with you again, having a good friends list is always the best way. Another thing, give them those mana pots you pick up. Healers should obviously do the same keeping a list of good tanks.

I have some breaking news for you. You don’t need any tanks or healers to do any classic wow dungeon. They are brain dead easy . Just stock up on some food and water and go have fun. Works much better for range classes such as mages , locks or hunters. How do i know this ? I did it myself as a mulltiboxer a million times. If one person can do it I’m sure 5 separate accounts could also do it.

I suggest moving out of Deadmines at level 40, noobie.

Lol it’s so far the most ridiculous idea of the day. Doubt anything top this, but the day is long.

you sound like a baddie

Healers and tanks are over rated. You need to just bring more mages, also you should consider to drop your shaman and play the REAL blue class.

You can do the same in retail. But it’s finicky, requires certain conditions and gear. A solid group with the defined roles always works best.

and for every one of you that leaves, 10 more would replace you ! sounds like a win-win

Lol, you have no idea what you’re talking about.

I’m getting random tells looking for healers when I’m not even looking for a group. It also happens often while I’m omw to a dungeon/raid after already joining a group.

It takes hours for raids to pug enough healers currently. Healers have it good right now. There’s not enough of us.

There will be 10x more healers if GDKPs were allowed. what don’t you understand?

I get 1-2 random whispers an hour to heal raids or end game dungeons every time i play

sounds like he understands now LOL.

Got em.

Lol no, you’re just another failure.

Resto doesn’t feel great in vanilla 5 man content, not that it isn’t capable but it feels clunky and half the resto tree isn’t even worth points so the common build is actually ele/resto.

Shamans strength in 5 mans is totems but you can get those from any shaman.

huh?

Something for future retail, but highly doubt it for classic. The main problem is the tanks and team are not aware we need to drink every pull if you can’t stay out of crap.
I had one tank pull a whole room in Shadowfang Keep “obviously a retail player” I just stepped back and was like nope…
I love healing a good group but most have no consideration of the healer.
If it bothers you so much than re-spec to heals and come back later. You have to Que though. No getting friends and than saying it’s simple dimple.
