haha. just let me have playable gnome druids. so adorable. their shapeshift forms would be cuter than vulpera… so if you want furry revenge on alliance, support gnome druids.

I’m playing a Deep Gnome Druid in a D&D campaign at the moment; next to Gobs, Gnomies are the next best thing you could possibly play.

so in shadowlands, since the undead scourge have lost their warden - et.al, the lich king - and since we, the guardians of azeroth will be all busy in shadowlands, the scourge will be running amok on azeroth, destroying everything. so, heres an idea=
lets say they drop the horde vs. alliance pretense, and have 4 factions based on the light, the dark, nature and the elements. then have their factional cities fit those themes, such as the revendreth zone type environment for the dark, the ardenweald zone type environment for nature, something like highmountain zone with a better city layout, for the elements. not sure yet on the light. but you get the idea. then erase the class/race restrictions and let people play the type of faction that closest matches their view of their character, rather than someone else’s view.
p.s. gotta be some way to use suramar. holey rusted metal batman, that thing is a gorgeous work of art

This thread has gotten quite entertaining.
Also loving the tryhard hate on furries when the Horde has had furries since WC3. Tauren and Chen says hi. It’s most entertaining.
Well I am not really sure about this to be honest. I am not sure what happens of the Lich King, I sort of try to avoid spoilers since the questing first experience is one of the most fun aspect of the game for me.
Well, I struggle a bit to get a full understanding of this concept. Or mostly, imagining it.
The problem I see in this that scenario is the “While Busy”. So what does that entice? For a future expension after we’re done we whatever we will do in the Shadowlands?
Like I now that I am throwing everything out of the the window. I could see something happening while gone, but on which scale? It would need to be well designed I think if that was happen.
But at the end of the day, if it’s something that can manage most the community, and no GD, cause god knows GD will always complain about new things.
I do not see why not eliminating races and class combination’s restrictions.
yeah i guess there would be special situations with restrictions, logically, such as demon hunters of every race would be a problem. to solve it, illidan would need to agree to train new demon hunters and hes currently busy guarding the prison of sargeras.
I bet 10 bucks that Shadowlands will only actually be about shadowlands for like 8.0 and 8.1 then it will go on to be about something completely different afterwards, like maybe Sagares and Illidan, then from there we can get rid of DH class restrictions.

You guys have a unique class already. Blood Elves deserve nothing.
There are no Elf Druids. You have plenty of Druid options that are already in the game, we do not need more Elves. They already invest enough of the game, the other races need far more love.
Yeah but most of us don’t really care about demon hunter. Most Demon Hunter are people who used to play difference races, that class just boosted our population in a negative way.
Let’s be truthful here, beside DHs player. No one really likes DHs.
One truth we can agree upon. Doesn’t change the fact Blood Elves have a unique class and I have no choice but to play an Elf if I want to have that as an alt. Same should extend to you wanting a Druid or Shaman.
Hey if you want Tauren Demon Hunters, go for it and ask. If anything, I’d love to see more then then just Elves, because as a roleplayer I strongly dislike seeing them being attracted by people who think Blood Elves are just memes.

I don’t want Tauren DHs, but I would love for them to be a different race. They should be, at least Orcs and Draenei make sense.
I’m sorry if I come off as confrontational. I have a dislike for a lot of the demands of Blood Elves because I have not met a lot of good Blood Elf players who aren’t just all about “I want I want I want, me me me, cater to me and who cares what else, I want it” type of attitude. I really don’t mind Blood Elves, but there are just too many who play them. Yes, other players aren’t there for my immersion. But there’s a lot to say when I want to feel like I’m Horde but instead I’m on the plus one of an all Blood Elf Party.
Part of the reasons I don’t want them to get Druids and Shamans is to keep at least one section of the faction out of Blood Elf hands. Call me selfish, call me mean, call me whatever name you have for it, but I just like to see some diversity and not just Elf this Elf that.
Blood Elves can already be 10/12 classes. Can we please just let at least some place where they aren’t there? I really don’t think that’s much to ask, horrible as I probably sound…
